Actually, I read your post initially and fixed the issue going forwards but forgot to reply here. No bots should be eligible to the Scrimmage Finder since then.

Does it also exclude teams that are about to become bot? I was under the impression from Lemonshine's post elsewhere that this may have been what happened here, but I may be wrong and that would not be newsworthy. ;)

No it doesn't, it only excludes already botified teams.

I see 1 message, deleted, no replies. Of course I'm not going to get back the missed training, but it was reasonable to expect some kind of feedback since there were multiple problems here: scrimmages vs bots and bots with no players...

I just posted, that you could have avoided this by manually picking your scrimmage opponent - because you stated that there was nothing you could do against playing against an empty roster, which in my opinion was your mistake.

I will try to sugarcoat my future answers

Well, you see, if the scrimmage finder locks me in with a bot and on top of that with a bot with no players (it actually became a bot so I was unaware of the fact) is it not buggy?

Maybe your answer really is that they should remove the scrimmage finder. Honestly that thing is buggy also for other reasons but it is convenient.

Besides, your point does not hold: if you manually pick an opponent and he gets banned you face the same exact basic problem. Which would not be so much of a problem in itself, if it wasn't combined with the fact all the team's players were removed from the roster, for reasons that are obscure to me.

Let's just say that the discussion about his post is probably off-topic and so we should not continue that here. As far as the actual issue, Marin has updated the code so it will not automatch bot teams any longer, but there is the possibility that it would match a team on Saturday with someone scheduled to go bot and possibly have their players hit FA(or hit the stage of bankruptcy that lists their players $0). That should be a highly unlikely scenario, but it can also be worked around by not using an automatic matchup and instead on Monday using the tool to automatically match you up at that time (for some reason, my Utopia team doesn't automatch so I have to do that each week, and sometimes I forget until Monday/Tuesday).
