There you go. I knew it would come down to this, because I already said this is the real problem: the money managers make in B3, especially in the round robin.

I agree with you here, but the problem is the money NOT the past champions. Because the same way they get that money so do a lot of other teams which have no chance of competing in B3. Now let's sum the money made by champions when they should have not been in the competition and the money made from micronation teams when playing other shitty teams and let's see which number is higher.

The round robin should not award any money. Give some money only for reaching the top-32 and then for every win after that. That's it. I think we can all agree that those who reach the ko stages all are deserving of being in the B3, irrespective if they qualified as past champions or as micronation bot destroyers...

I'm agree with you for supressing money in round-robin, it isn't a bad idea (and in consequence, maybe a little more money for KO stages)

But IMO the olds B3 champions should'nt be in round-robin. If they want to be in B3, they have to win another cup or championship. It's a pro tanking team system right now.

Well then, I'd like to remove all the fodder from the competition, including all those teams from micronations who are very far from D1 level, let alone B3 level. Since you want to deal with the mouse, let's also deal with the elephant in the room shall we?

If past champions don't deserve to be in the B3, then surely these awful teams don't deserve it either...

At least, they have win the cup or the championship in their country, it's better than nothing.

Let's imagine the best BB manager is living in a micro-nation and with his talent, can produce a B3 competitive team for several seasons. Why doesn't he have the right to compete at the highest level? Because he's living in a micronation? It would be unfair...

If a lot of them are fodders in round robin, they can't go further. But if one of them (from micro) is realy a good team, his team can go further and maybe win B3.

I think if you win B3, you should only get a free pass into the next season's B3. Winning B3 is harder than any cup or championship, so it ok IMHO to give them the one season free pass.

I'm going to disagree on this one. If you win B3, the ultimate championship, Then I think having a lifetime pass is a great reward. It's like in golf, if you win the Masters you can play in the Masters for the rest of your life. Even if you're 70 and can't hardly shoot 100. You are always part of the club.

Those who are complaining about the money they could potentially get are worrying too much. You only get $20K per win. If they are fielding a good team then maybe they collect $100K or so. If not then they will get very little. $20K doesn't go very far in this game, its not much of an incentive.

The problem I saw though is that there are some past winners who have quit, their teams were botted, and then resurrected as a new team with a new owner. I think I saw a couple where the new owner was getting the free admission. Now that's wrong and should be fixed.
