This is my new addition,

Weekly salary: $ 3 860
DMI: 0
Age: 19
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: inept Handling: mediocre
Driving: mediocre Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: respectable

Experience: atrocious

I am quite happy as I decided pre draft to start training PF and C. All I wish was that he was a year younger, o'well. My other picks where ok and will fill some holes for now.

Interesting to see a bot team in my league picked 2 Hall of famers in the draft. What happens to those players when the team is taken over by a newbie?

First of all, potential is just potential... it's what that player could be. In a BB context, that potential appears to mean that the player is capable of being trained to very high levels. It doesn't mean he is or ever will be a useful player.

On a bot team, I don't think the player will ever be able to end up on a human team. (Not 100% sure of that... in any case, the player would be unlikely to have a high enough salary to be a free agent.)

I thought I had a pretty good draft pick, today I'm not as sure.... He was a 5 Star Centre, and 4 star potential I believe. He played pretty well for me in the Scrimmage I had already with like 17 rebounds, but I just noticed that he's only 6'0"

Does anyone else think this would be a big issue that my centre is only that big? Or should I be training him elsewhere to make him better at that spot?

The height thing is a huge issue, as far as I know. Training will be slow in the big guy skills.

Your guy would make a nice all-around small forward once trained in the guard skills, but it's very unfortunate that his one terrible skill is jump shot.

If you're not training guards, I would either sell him now, or get one or two of his big guy skills up to strong, then sell him (or switch training).

This is all just my opinion.

Thanks to both for the opinions.

Have two decent small forwards already, so maybe I'll sell him.

In his three outside skills JS, JR, OD. he is as close to being triple respectable as if he were mediocre, mediocre, mediocre.

With his potential and age he could end up as really good player, you just have to make up his single weak spot. Otherwise all his skills but his driving are mediocre or better.

If you were training guards, I could see just including him in the guard training. He'll do pretty good as a PG.

I'm training SFs at the moment and would love to have a guy like that. Send me a message if you put him up for sale.
