Boys,
Our country is in need of some help to regain some depth in well trained players. Each of you made it to the top level in this game by training players to improve your team and leapfrog other teams that are not. I would love to have any of you get involved and help some managers train decent players from the age of 18-20. Not much work involved, just keeping in contact with a few managers to keep them training quality young Aussies. The benefit to us ( as the top league in Australia) of sharing this knowledge will be a lot more quality Aussie players coming through (which the higher teams can then purchase), plus more involvement in the game which may just get our community cranking once more. It may not help, but it also may. Im willing to give it a go.

I'll answer that with a question.

Are you prepared to throw away your entire season and give up any hope you have left of staying in the ABBL, just for one extra cup victory?

Well with tonights loss putting me 2 games and a massive points differential behind 5th, I think it's time to tank away and prep for div 2 again. :(

Only thing that kept him from winning the cup over me were the guards. The frontcourt however (including Gingut) was surely the best frontcourt in the country, if not more, especially with Jain ending up as a back-up option because of it's depth!

Here's what I had; http://i.imgur.com/vrostLa.png

The team was a bit stronger than that in season 37 but you know what skill drops are like once players hit the age of 33 (though Cicvaric is still at his prime right now).

Yeah I just did not have the $$$ to buy decent guards, and they are hard to come by :(

Nevertheless, you had some very good strategy. Putting your SG at centre was a good choice, and one I didn't see coming. I was guarding your SG with Gingut - in retrospect had I put him to just guard at SF I may have made it a bit closer, as your SF scored quite a bit against my SG.

Ah well - I will settle with a silver cup. It's time to go into a rebuilding phase and look to train up the next elite Australian player :)
