Poland destroys Team Philippines 125-89

By losing to Poland, our focus is making the most out of the consolation tournament. The next game will be a no bearing game and it is just to finish the schedule in last chance qualifiers. Just like all teams that qualify for last chance we will start the consolation tournament with a 0-2 card and work our way up the ladder in the standings. Please keep training your rookies and check in with our coaches from time to time with the progress. Also accepting PM's from u21 graduates and non graduates for endorsement to next seasons team.

First game of the consolation tournament is against Sweden

I used the last slot (18th) to add Florian Ignacio a sf/sg. Former u21 standout. Sweden is a tough team based sa mga tinalo nila this season and we are also playing on the road. Our GS is not that great this week so we will try to aim for the win. For those of you training for Seniors ang immediate needs would be a PG, SG and possibly a PF.

I came to this conclusion based on the current age by position. Please keep this in mind.

I hope that at the end of this game day, there will be good news for Sweden (a win) and good news for you (a SG in the making ;) )
Last week I bought a 22 y/o Pot 10 SG from Pilippinas and he recieves 1 position training (OD). His JS/JR is already on a high level, so he should be a help for your NT in ca. 2 seasons.

Last game for Seniors

Our last game will be against Greece this coming Monday. We have won 4 straight games in the consolation tournament after losing to Sweden in the opener. It is a longshot if we can make it to the Knockout round with a lot of teams needing to lose for us to qualify outright. Progress with the Senior team is slow but rest assured the younger players are getting better and rec. training. Currently nasa 38th spot tayo. Under tournament rules, 32 lang ang kinukuha. Last season we almost made it to the Asian semifinals na talo tayo sa point differential by tying for second in our pool.

Projected retirements and borderline players next season will be as follows:

Garlit (33), Baad (32) and temporary players Natividad (28) and Gravino (30).

This will create 4 slots. As of now, I will keep them until the duration of my term but will start to scout when the consolation tournament is over. We can still scrimmage with other teams to gain experience. Thank you to all the owners who keep their players in good game shape

Someone once told me I needed to face fear to get over it, and I thought well why not take a step further and cut my fear into little pieces then set my fear on fire then throw the hot ash of my fear into a lake and then poison the lake. Simple!

Congrats to lolo for making the cup finals, favorites are still MB - stranger things have happened in the finals. Malay natin mag milagro team ni lolo. Side note: maganda pamalakad ni Red sa Seniors. The pop rating is surprising to me. Napaka clear ng direction na binigay niya sa Seniors. Truth is, we have been playing catchup sa Asia for a few seasons. The Senior/U21coaches really have to think like a chess player, 5-7 moves ahead. Next season, election nanaman. I hope ang ating boto counts. It is not good to change coaches midseason.

I hope next season whoever will sit, will commit to the work.

Good luck sa kanilang dalawa. Red did a good job. Kailangan talaga mas maraming managers ang mag train for Seniors. Doon tayo kulang.
