As by far as my understanding of this goes... Its due to supply/demand of the player market and they want us to spend money?

Yes and that might be fair, but the whole thing was explained as a balancing exercise to make LI cookie cutters more expensive (i.e. price in IS in the guards' salary formula). Now you have big men with 60, 65 outside skills (mine is listed as C despite that, mind you, he'd be in the PF formula with 3 extra JS) increasing every season.

Big men are generally costlier than guards so in absolute terms their salary will go up more. Also, while I agree that top LI teams have well rounded big men, they are absolutely essential for other (outside) tactics.

I run Inside Iso as my offense. My team takes 1 to 2 threes a quarter.... I have had decent success with Inside Iso and turn around the team to 11-11 on the season and rarely loss in season 38. I am aiming for promotion but there is a manager Pony Express who has a stacked division 3 vet team.
