I understand, I just feel that a more professional looking page would be more attractive to get more users. I'm not telling you to change what you do. I'd leave it up to Marin or any other higher-up at BB to tell you how to run it, just giving my viewpoint. Look at NBA2K19's twitter for example. I'm not saying they have a great twitter by any means and I really don't like their game, but their tweets all relate to the general game of 2K. Not many people who find the twitter page are going to care about your cup results for example. If you had a separate twitter for your team, that's a different story. But the official page of BB to me should be purely marketing to get as many new users as possible, and I'm just not sure if that's what the page is optimized to do for now.

I can't say anything about the Facebook as I rarely ever use Facebook. But I'm on Twitter a lot, so I just felt like I should comment here.

As Daniel Okrent who invented Rotisserie Baseball (which is in many ways the foundation from which our "silly little game" is based, though this game owes a great dent as well to stat-o-matic) would say, nothing is more interesting than YOUR fantasy team but nobody wants to hear about YOUR fantasy team.

That being said, I am completely down with our new social media Lord bringing up the fortunes of his team. A proactive social media presence has been long over due.

And the dividends are already being paid, over 300 new users this week alone! Coincidence? I think not! Trust is hitting the hoops based contingent hard, I am a little concerned about what happens after the finals are over. The main thing is to stay active out there.

For sure! Any social media is better than none.

Pizza, yes.

Social media, no. It can be done very wrong. Examples are in the millions.

Yeah you’re right. What’s going on here though isn’t bad or very wrong, just improvable in my eyes. You’re right though there’s plenty of bad social media accounts, but generally speaking any type of publicity is better than no publicity (unless it’s really negative)

Hey not sure how do-able this is, but perhaps doing some sort of contest where someone can win 3 months of supporter for commenting/engaging with whatever post you want could be really affective. Not sure if Marin would want to fund this, but nothing raises social media awareness quite like giving things out for free in a contest.
