Leave the starter space blank, and set the player as backup and reserve only. This should guarantee 48 minutes as long as there's no foul outs or injuries.

My player Šimon Zážický (48074959) was supposed to play as a center for 48 minutes in game (110557654)
Subtitutions : Strictly follow depth chart

He was setting as starter, backups and reserves for center. He play 48 minutes, but in Current Training:
Shot Blocking for C he have only 44 minutes. Why? His training is set and he is missing his minutes now, but it is not my fault. Please repair it.

Yeah, I discovered it cause someone suggested it on the forums a while back. It's worked incredibly well for me.
