Oh I love building players, watching them develop over the course of real time (since it literally takes years) and hoping they perform.
I am mainly into pops, but also into being competitive. I just find that at some points my team is at a stalemate. No cash, not good enough to promote, too high of salaries to afford, and trainees are 21-22. So when I get to those points I typically rebuild.

I don’t mind a couple losing seasons, I plan to buy some guards to place around my 3 big trainees and come right back up to d3 and hopefully I’ll be on a better path to success whilst enjoying the euphoria from Friday morning pops. At this point, I’ve been playing long enough to have been in every division in the game lol. So if I’m not competitive right away, I’ll be alright.

I mostly just want America to win the worlds in 3 seasons.

Good luck with the rebuild! Happy to have you as my rival :)
I don't think I'll be too far above you in the standings, haha.

I am currently still going through a fan boycott. I am 5-0 this season but my fans are still boycotting after a 1-21 d2 season. I love rebuilding sometimes it is fun to drop to d4 and be able to win league games with 18/19 year old trainees and some older cheap vets.

How long does the fan boycott normally last?

Depends on how large the % is. I have a ton of money so when a boycott hits, I start at 30% and it only works down 3% per week, so it takes a full season! If you are still doing poorly, it will reset too during the current one. It was put in place to prevent people like me from tanking hard and collecting cash. And it works. It will stay with you even when you are doing well the following season, etc.

Of course, If you don't have a lot of money, the % is less and so you can get rid of it fast.

Yeah, it is awful. I didn't keep track of if it is worth it or not when it comes to my earnings.

Great final series. I was lucky to get one win. Good luck in Division II.

Thanks buddy. I think I was lucky to get the first game. But then your most expensive player went down in the fourth, and got me over the line in that one. It was a great series of ups and downs, with many interesting moments on both sides.
All the best.
