Coaching in the U21/ NT ranks take a lot of time. They need to scout prospects, scout the opponents, mentor and entertain questions regarding training. Anong assurance ng mga botante na meron kang time para dito? Isang speech na katiting lang kumpara sa dadanasin mo bilang coach ng at least 2 seasons kung ikaw ang mapili, wala ka pang time?

About sa commitment, maglalaan ka ng time para sa isang bagay na committed ka, so balik nanaman tayo sa time. Kung kahit sa speech ay wala kang time, it also shows na hindi ka din committed sa pagiging coach. Baka bigla mong iwanan sa ere ang team sa kalagitnaan ng tournament, o kapag di ka nakapagset ng lineup, "sorry, busy lang" ang maisasagot mo.

Ganito ang trend sa mga nakaraang elections na hindi lahat ng kandidato ay nagppost ng speech nila. I encourage future candidates to post their speeches. Simple act but it says a LOT about you as an individual and perhaps, as a coach. Let the voters know who you are, what your plans are and prove to us that you have the time and the commitment for this.

Not too fond of him either. He keeps buying prospects for the votes and not really train them. I really hate it. Never even made an U21 trainee.

When I saw the word "debate" on the name thread, I was hesitant on even posting anything. I hate debating, I just want to enjoy this game. I have been playing this since 2011 if I'm not mistaken, season 7 I think. Na-ban yung original team ko for some unfortunate reason, but that didn't stop me from creating a new team and just enjoy this. Sa NBA2K palaging yung MyNBA lang yung mode na nilalaro ko, which is for those who know, the managerial mode. You know, being the general manager for at least 25 years.

Anyway, I am not gonna ask for anyone to vote for me. That's not just me. If I get voted purely because of what I do for my team here, thank you. I'll make sure I give Philippines a fighting chance for every game. If I don't, well, I'll just try getting voted again some other season without ever asking anyone to vote for me. I may not get voted ever, but I'll be fine. I just wanna enjoy this game while MAYBE having a chance to seriously get this country to the top.

It's not that I don't care, it's just that, in the real world, I don't think Steve Kerr or Grant Hill asked to get voted as coach or GM of Team USA. They were chosen, recognized for their greatness. :)

Oooops... Someone's affected by my post, I didn't even addressed it to anyone. This is why I hate and avoid "debate", we don't need it here. ^_^

Anyway, I don't understand the analogy (maybe I am dumb hahahaha), I was talking precisely the current managing director and coach of the national basketball team of USA, who were both chosen, not hired because of their application. I know we don't have such a governing body (like SBP) who will chose our next national team coach/manager, but I'd still won't ask for anyone's vote. I'll leave it at that ^_^

Come on man, are you copying someone who didn't attend "debates" hoping you'll also win a position? ;)

Even the name of your team screams palaban sa debates, but I can't blame you as someone who came from there and also not too keen on debates.

But in the real world "itaas ang bandera ng Pilipinas, wag (insert other country)" back fired hard on our national team (Sea games, asian cup) as the chosen coach is not someone competent, the foreign coach SBP wanted to kick was much more successful since he is experienced in those level of competitions.

Hahaha! This one, I'll address to you. Good points! Still, I'm really not hoping to win, I'm just tired of seeing other countries' names every new season update. Maybe. ;)
