why you wouldn't want rebounding on certain players?

Cross training can go to all skills, even the trained ones!
I was gonna comment about the same thing, since I 'think' I noticed it. Good to see an official confirmation, thanks!

Are those 10% slots an official info too, or just an opinion? It seems a bit too much to me, honestly.

I have never been completely sure about the actual number of "default" (no gym) slots as well. Is it officially just one?

Mostly because of the cap.
If you want to train a player like a Point guard for example, maybe you want to keep low rebounding on him so that you can focus on other skills to cap him.
Doesn't mean you never want it, it is depending on how you want your player

Cross Training is 10% of the pre-elastic amount.
Thanks, as always! I was definitely not aware that the base was not considering elastics. That explains a lot.

Those 40% lvl-3-gym accumulated cross-training (correct me if I'm wrong here) however seem way over the top in terms of ST/FT training late in player development. That would imply that a player could get as much as 3 cross-pops a season training ST/FT post-cap in his 30s... Is that (close to) correct?

They do receive cross training but it is a different formula based on age.
Glad it's that way. And thanks for jumping in!

all added skills add to salary. for salaries under 100k this is harder to spot.

when talking about NT players who have a salary of 180 or 220 or 260, a *full* level of rebounding may add 20-30-40k per pop. this exponential salary increase is a measure to somehow limit but in a soft manner the development of players and to force better well rounded players.

you have a tool on buzzer-manager to estimate salary. at the sime price a salary of with all the desired skills but rebounding 2 will be lower than that of a player with strong RB.

but this is also affected by the formula for PG and SF which are different. after RB the most expensive skill is JS, but JS is always good, wheras RB for guards....is debatable.

hope this helped
