yao's not necessarily a weak rebounder, but he def struggles against larger centers because size matters.

i'm not talking about the skill of a player, i'm talking about the innate advantage height brings. in this game two players can be "respectable" in rebounding but if one is 7' and the other is 6' then when they play against each other the 7' should have an advantage.

but 7 is pretty weak, and normally the young giants aren't in the shape off the smaller one(movement accuracy(bad description but i hope that works), speed and jump Power) ...

Yeah they got also the advantage off the height, so wehen they stop grwowing and works on their feets they getting better then the small ones ... but till that times, the smaller ones will often drive around then and they throw over the heads of the small ones. So the advantage becomes part of the game through the development of the player, which ain't far away from the reality.

Normal centers wouldn't have respectable Rebound they will have profient + when you play this game longer, the same is for the other main skills.

But height is factored into the skill. If you had a 220 cm guy and a 180 cm guy both with proficient rebounding and you remove the height factor then the short guy will still be proficient and the tall guy might be respectable or something.

again, i'm not talking about raw skill, i'm talking about matchup. the same tall guy will rebound better against shorter players than taller player no matter what the other guys raw skills are. my example would be the same guy would look proficient against a short guy but respectable against a tall guy regardless of the skill of the other guy

ok we talk about matchups, a better rebounder will catch more rebounds then a weaker one ...

Now you could count that back, and you got the skills in the BB which include both factors.

Not necessarily. Maybe the short guy is great at positioning himself and reading where the ball will bounce while the tall guy just stands there and hopes it comes his way.
