some people can be traveling, or without internet for longer than that.. and 2 weeks is much less then 7.

and anyway, there is no argument to not show the players weekly.

This looks like an excellent argument:

Your friend invests in scouting heavily, and discovers after 2 weeks that there are 2 A+ players available. He tells you this information, and you having happened upon 2 A+ players yourself, reason that you have probably got the best of the pool, and can safely invest less heavily in the future.. or inversely, if you haven't you know its still worth scouting more as there are good players to be discovered.

If all the information is revealed at once at the end, then your friends information can't influence your future investment in scouting resources.

well, in my opinion it is not, because there is no way that in an early point in the season you will be able to know that you have already found all level 5 (or A) players that will be available. There is no way to tell how many players of each level there will be there.

but anyway, I personaly decided that when people (or me) suggest something here and other people start being very defensive about it, I'm no longer going to spend any more time in these discussions. So i stop here in this one. For me personally doesn't matter, since i will be online always, but I was posting this (as I said before) because there were A LOT OF PEOPLE ASKING FOR THIS AND COMPLAINING ABOUT THE WAY THINGS ARE NOW (via BB-mail, messenger, some in person even, and a whoel thread about it in the brazilian forum - 4th biggest community on BB), so I was jsut doing my part as a GM.

sounds ok with me


if that's the idea, then I agree also.

But then we will have less 3 weeks to scout. What will be the maximum number of times we will be able to scout players through the whole season (what ever it is now - 8)? how will that affect the way the information is shown?

no the idea is that you just shifting the scouting cycle.. so scouting will continue for the last 3 weeks of the season.. but it will go towards next season rather than the current one.

the totaly scouting time would stay the same.

What I think he is saying is that the money invested for the last three weeks will be counted towards the draft for the season AFTER the current one.

For instance, any money invested in the last three weeks of Season 2 would be applied to the scouting for the draft following the conclusion of Season 3.

ok, I see. That sounds good also.

But what about this season, we will simply have 3 less weeks of scouting, or something different will be done?
