Search filter of height and potential is a wrong step.

...don't get me wrong I've draftees with nice potential but in long term this is a big hit for the market.



i was the one who was forcefully suggesting the nationality search function.. since day one of being manager in BB i guess? and adding height and potential is a surprise for me... but really, i don't mind.

and with regards to the potential search taking a hit on the market... it all depends on the searcher i guess. for me... i don't give a rat's behind on potential... and for that, buying trainees with low potential could mean economically better for me...

yeah it's good to have a trainable ATG potential player... but it's good for me if i manage to make a role player one of the highest paid ballers on the league.

bottom line... if there are players who have no restrictions on potential, it may be an advantage to those who try to neglect low potential players.

Your complaining makes me think that before this change, we couldnt see player's potencial when shopping.

yeah but it unfair if now people without that much time for searching, have the chanche to find a decent player on the tl ;)

Must be very hard for all of us^^

What's your complaint here?

Adding more search parameters just helps the market work more efficiently. It's easier for buyers to find what they are looking for.

Crap players didn't sell before and still won't. Good players sold before and still will. This just makes searching the transfer list less time consuming.


I think you answered your own question here. Some players dont want it to be too easy to find good things on the market. It acts as a bit of a leveler between very active managers and the less than active. I have no problem with it, and I spend alot of time cruising the TL, that is just what I think the complaint is here.

Which is why it's a rubbish argument.
FFS, making it easier for casual players is bad. What tosh. If you work hard, you can still have an advantage.

The part I think is funny is it didnt seem like any "gems" were slipping by before the change. I think it is extremely wishful thinking to think that some great transfer is just going to slip by everyone for super cheap.........just because its hard to find them.

I think we should do away with the TL entirely. Make people look at the rosters of other teams for players!
