I think there's a lot of focus here on the team ratings instead of the match ratings.
1) Bulls dominated the matchup ratings, where TWSS had an edge, but not nearing a 2-1 advantage.
2) Bulls won the tactics, going 1-3-1 against the RNG, instead of TWSS going M2M against the same RNG.
Maybe point 2 explains why the bulls matchup ratings far exceeded the expectations from the team ratings. Maybe the Bulls OD was concentrated better against key matchups then TWSS. Without more info its hard to say.
Either way, if the matchup ratings and team ratings don't reconcile, better to focus on the matchup ratings as they are much more telling.
edit - i should have added:
3) Bulls had a HUGE advantage in rebounds and had many more shots the their opp then TWSS did. I've stopped trying to make heads or tails of rebounding in BB. No idea why seemingly equal rebounding ratings produced such wildly different results.
