It must be that all your 5 players gather around the ball, like it would be in the bushes, not a chance for anyone to get to it..? And then the whole "bush" move towards the opponents basket... I think you should try getting the "bush" to commit an offensive foul on some of your players as defence.

Back in the days we used to play "ambush the ball": we would hide behind the ref, and once the opponents PG would pass we would scare the h**l out him him, forcing an easy TO...

I think Bush the Ball is having a guard who likes to dribble a lot dribble the ball for a really long time until the ball is "bushed". This is a good tactic against teams that do not pass well since by the second half the only way to bring the ball up the floor is to pass it since the ball is too bushed to be dribbled. It is also a good tactic against outside oriented offenses (Motion, R&G) since it is difficult to shoot a bushed ball that is too tired to bounce off of the backboard or give a nice roll off of the rim, so a team needs to dunk it home to score a lot.

I apologize if this is wrong and I am misleading anybody. I am very new here, but I like to try to help people by posting answers in the Help post about things that I know little about.

thanks to calum. my native language is not english so there will be some mistakes in writing. I just meant (Push the Ball). sorry about the mistake I saw it when I posted so there were no way to correct it. but I don't understand why all these useless and meaningless comments.
