yes you can. ;þ

still, I think a balanced team is more valuable then monsterplayers, and you might not want to believe me, but Parayre kept me in the BBBL for a long time, even Vande Sande did, and you realy don't want to know his skills.
So unless everyone made drastic changes to their teams this season, I'm sure I can stay in the BBBL with Parayre as starting PG.
Too bad I'm focussing on training, otherwise you'd have seen...
As for Div II, Vande Sande is more then good enough to become champ there, no need to field parayre as starter.
The No 1 of the other conference even had a very hard time against Imschoot as starting PG, along with other starters that where either out of shape, or out of position, or even both... I expected a major loss, yet, he needed a buzzerbeater to win.

Anyways, talking about training, Sammy is doing great.
He's top 10 in both steals/game and blocks/game in the whole div II in Belgium. And he's just at 7800 wage.
His other figures are very promissing as well, and you should know he's almost always playing out of position...
This week there is a rebounding training sceduled. Starting with next week I expect to only train ID and OD for the rest of the season. I might even go for stamina at all star break as I noticed he can not play for 48 minutes, even with slow paced tactics... I'm not sure about that, what do you think? should I get him some stamina to get him 48minute games again? or just play him with a back-up 2 games each week?

for me it's quite simple. As I don't have all my big guns I had last year, and my shape isn't so good this week, I will not keep players for thursday as I expect to loose my cup game on tuesday already.

If I do win my cupgame, then the team on thursday will meet a very average BoD. But it's no use to spare my best option for thursday as it will make me loose on thuesday for sure, and then I will have to play my best option in a scrimmage...

I'm happy enough as it is. I will get 3 games this week anyway which is good for my training...

I unfortunatelly have to disagree again...The duel between Arlon and Stonestars for the second place will not be exciting at all.... Arlon has a well balanced team, has nomore the cup to worry about and can therefore focus on the championship only, what will (and already has given) give him an advantage in championship wins and points average.... I therefore don't see him loosing more than 3 times in the last games of the season... the duel will be more for the 3rd and 4th seats... Moreover if i continue to have the "chance" to face D1 teams in the cup games, i will just try not to finish 5th or worst...

balanced teams are a plus for sure. The reason is because the manager can chose from a large variety of tactics, not only going for strengths and weaknesses, but even gonig for surprises without hurting itself.
Given good tactical choices, the balanced team will end higher then expected on paper.
But if managed wrongfully, or making the wrong decisions regularly, either by making mistakes or by bad luck, it can take big hits too...

if Ximee indeed has big guns, it will be his strength, and he can try to win on that strength.

It's dificult to say what will be the results and I think much will depend on tactical choices and game-shapes...

As for the BBBL reinforcing, and improving, yes it is a good thing, but I urge all BBBL teams to be carefull no to speed up too hard. This is dangerous when more then 2 or 3 teams are trying to compete.
So far it has been Sedrul for a while, I could compete, but purposely didn't, then came Sum I took over for a short while to press my championship that I wanted to get at last, and then Seattle took over and neither I nor Sum reacted.

Now I see 3 teams that can compete, Sum as well, but I think he's not going to as it is not his habit, maybe there are a few more that have not surfaced yet but have ambitions too.
If those get carried away and try to improve too quick, and start competing with each other to be the best, then we will not have a long lasting situation.
So, slow but steady wins the race. Improvement is good, just don't overdo yourselves.
Let me finish by stating that I am not telling you are doing already, I just want to warn you all not to get carried away...
keep a positive economic balance each week, without cupmoney.
