I think I would agree with all three of you. Zmtomako has made a bunch of questionable choices as Coach and no matter how much we complain and criticize, he is still coach and if he chooses to not listen to us, there is nothing we can do about it, for the rest of the season anyway. We just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.
I think Canada could have easily being unbeaten in the tournament but the only thing we can hope is that Canada wins their next two games. We can't win the tournament anymore but we can hope Zmtomako tries to help us finish in the best place possible and get the best seed possible. -sigh-

Can't balance the time between real life and this NT business

I don't mind the criticism, it's good to see that people care. What bugs me most is me making a thread about the game tactics, no one bothers to comment and then I take back lash for not generating discussion

Questionable tactics choice, fine, I don't disagree because I don't have the time to analyze
Trying to generate discussion, well I posted what I could on the off site and I get nothing back in form of a discussion...

I am not doing what I intended to do with the NT, my effort level clearly isn't where it needs to be and time is not of a luxury for me. You have all the rights to criticize, but help me out here, the tactics and roster is out and have always been out, don't just give me post-game comments, give me something pre-game

Let me put it this way, if you don't speak up BEFORE a game, nothings going to change and the ball continues to be in my hands... I got ZERO second opinions from Canada so far for all games in the consolation
Unless you are telling me you want the tactics on the on-site forums, I don't know where you're looking, but the tactics have been on the off-site

Glad to see you respond.

Two issues: The tactics have typically been posted vey close to game time. Ideally they are posted on Saturday morning after the update. This will actually allow people to make comment prior to the game.

Secondly the of-site forum has changed twice in the course of one BB season. While I understand and support the moves it has certainly left a bunch of people behind. The origanl site was just starting to get busy and then bang new forum. RInse and repeat.

that you will have to talk with bballin, i have been left out of the loop until it was publicized to the general public

again, i totally agree and these are valid concerns about my tactics, posting times, etc.
but my problem is i havent been able to balance the work load from real life and this NT job, which is root of this problem

if there is an assistant coach button where i can press or resign button i can press, i wouldve done so at about 4 weeks ago

like i've said, i dont intend to run again just because i think its in the best interest in the NT (i only ran in the last election for the laughs, but fate had it that greerzilla thing and lack of other even legit candidates.... shouldve said no and forced the GM to take over lol)

my plea to the community is, if you have time and is heroic, post a suggested strategy for the upcoming game before I do... don't wait for me because i might not have the time to dig for information and review the match ups, strats, etc

again, criticize me is fine, but at the same time, you can also take the initiative... especially now that i am issuing a public plea
i can be a puppet NT coach, i dont want to see the program fail at my hands and my rep to be damaged beyond repair
its pretty shitty now but we are still in good position to make the top 32 easily

.... unless my hidden agenda is to position us with a better match up for round 1....

If beanerz is taking over the NT next season, i think it is time for me to step up to the plate and lead the U21. I think the last 2-3 seasons have seen the deterioration of our Canadian user base and its time to reverse these problems before there are no users left.

If it is alright with the others i will go ahead and enter myself into the u21 election. That is only if i receive the nomination and heads up from at least 3 users, preferably around 7. Needless to say, if i fail to conjure even 3 nominations i am unfit to lead the U21 team and will dutifully give way and support who ever becomes the next U21 manager.

I don't say much. But scorher, you've been around for awhile so i respect that, but it's up to the user's themselves to contibute. You can't make anyone post and as for myself, could easily fall into the catagory of not posting but playing forever, I would say Mod-Ballin is so good for Canada it isn't funny... Great work Ballin, you filled in the stats void and great U21 work for all of Canada.

But that being said, everyone has there right to run for the manager's job on the NT or the U21. It's every users right. You've have been around for quite awhile and I would have to consider you a legit choice as the NT manager.

First off, I am by no means a slam dunk to win the NT Manager elections.

I am not sure you realize but Bballin has been one of, if not he best U21 manager ever. The results achieved were not always the best but his contribution is undeniably awesome!! Unless he has decided that he will not run for the U21 job next year, there is no chance that he gets defeated.

My advice would be to run for the NT position as you will actually have a chance to win it and it is far easier to start out compared to the U21 position.
