OK, Mizu AND Joe are clearly out of my league. That's exhausting.

I can't believe I have them both in the very same conference ... I'm really starting to think I'll have to wait for them stopping the game if I ever want to win some day xD

OK this is "only" a 12-points loss ; but Arlon played a whole quarter with a lucky fan as SF !

Maybe this is not the way after all ...

Haha, right enough, but myself included !

Nevertheless, I was thinking about it and once Claeys will be regular starter at PF life will be easier ; not to mention that I'll have to replace Krawczewski some day or another, because he's clearly too short - I saw that again yesterday despite Weeks' early dismissal he wasn't able to turn the tides in my favor. Not to mention that I played Arlon with superior enthusiasm. I don't regret it, I wanted to test out something.

I'm afraid I will have to make expenses and this will be my only shot probably because I'll run out of money if I get myself a very nice SF. If I don't make it then, I'll have to get rid of players and perhaps go tanking some time ... Not good, but I cannot allow myself to take risks and lose the team.

But first of all ... Let's finish Claeys !

End of the first round and so far, i can be happy with the results.
Alexopoulos is doing great: first in points, first in rebounds and a shotpercentage of over 60%.
My guards are also doing well, with a #2 and a #4 place in assists.

But i realise, the hard part is coming now: second round against the bloodbath conference while the harder cupgames are coming as well.

Like I stated in the beginning of the season, my focus remains the competition and so far this is working out fine

I think the DraftStreet Supporter Opportunity is a GREAT initiative to get more paying users on BB, and more users as a whole ! (see latest News on BuzzerBeater)
Players on BB only need to spend 10USD on DraftStreet, which they can spend however they want there, and also keep the eventual winnings, and above all get one year of supporter in return also !!
Wooow, if that isn't a sweet deal, I don't know what is, truly.

So this basically means, you get to spend the 10USD you pay for on DraftStreet, AND you get also 1 year of Supporter worth 40USD, so in fact you win AT LEAST 30USD with this deal, and that's only if you don't make any winnings on DraftStreet.
So the worst thing that can happen, is that you win 30USD on your supporter package !

You finally managed to sell him for a substantial price, after weeks of putting him on the T.L. finally someone paid this enormous amount for a 28-y old player, amazing.
Congrats, nonetheless, although i would never pay 3.5m for a 28y-old player.
But i'm sure this will lift your finances way up.
By the way, Dartreb, i wonder, what are your plans in the near future with your team ?

And a good buy.

If Belgium's finest SF was on the TL with still 4 playing seasons ahead of him, I would do all I can to sign him, I think. He wouls be quite an asset (although these 3.5 M would probably go to waste ...)

I do think that he worth that price too, because it's training is almost done (two more up to come un long range shoot + agility). You can buy younger players but they won't be that strong, so the question is, is it beter to have a fully trained player with 28 yo or a player you 'll have to train out of position and that will take the place of a stronger one (a 28yo one) or the place of another player you want to train ?

When is see rookies sold at more than 2.0M with all the works and losses to come due to training + the salary and costs of good trainers needed to have a nice final player, that usualy won't worth more than the initial price (except for SF or PF), i'm even more convinced that Hernando is a good buy, especialy for a buyer which is the NT trainer of Hernando's contry.
