D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 14 Recap (May 24, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Corntucky Crashes the Party, Yanzhao Erupts, and Kings Knights Make a Statement
Day 14 was one for the books. Corntucky Mildcats ripped through southpaw army like paper, Yanzhao dropped a jaw-dropping 55, and the Kings Knights crushed a contender to send a loud message to the league. Oh, and Wavy Gates? They’re undefeated no more.

Kings Knights Humble Big Forest
This was domination start to finish. The Knights flexed on Big Forest with a 125–95 beatdown, winning every quarter and racking up 11 steals. Cosmede’s defense and I. Olsen’s flamethrower shooting fueled a statement win from a team finding its edge at the perfect time.

Wasted Potential Delivers Defensive Clinic
The potential was fully realized. In a suffocating 119–82 win over Harbor City, Wasted Potential blocked 16 shots and shut down the Storm’s offense. M. Mázl’s 8 threes lit the scoreboard, but it was the rim protection—Choate, Dutton, and Dogruel—that broke Harbor’s will.

Yanzhao’s 55 Ends the Streak
Flying Ostriches held off Wavy Gates in a wild 118–109 shootout thanks to L. Yanzhao going nuclear: 55 points on absurd efficiency. The loss ends Wavy Gates’ perfect season at 13–1 and proves the Ostriches aren’t just contenders—they’re closers. A changing of the guard may be brewing.

Fraser, Mildcats Obliterate southpaw army
Call the fire marshal. Corntucky blew the doors off in a 117–30 embarrassment of southpaw army. V. Fraser was an absolute force—27-20-7—and claimed MVP honors with a monster 51 efficiency. If the Mildcats were under the radar before, they’re not anymore.

SomeTeam Outlasts Smallfries
SomeTeam looked locked in and beat the Friez 102–90, powered by T. Nguyên’s complete effort and E. Utters’ steady play. With a balanced attack and top-tier efficiency, SomeTeam keeps climbing.

Tar Heels #1 Stay Hot
Village Idiots couldn’t keep up, falling 106–89 to a surging Tar Heels #1 squad. Everything clicked on both ends as the Heels made a case that their peak might still be ahead.

Baker Street Back in Rhythm
After two rough outings, the Irregulars bounced back with a strong 104–78 win over Blue Ocean. Eller flirted with a triple-double and led the team like a seasoned vet. A needed recalibration win.

Hooligans Handle Business
The White Mambas never stood a chance—Hemet Hooligans rolled 107–75 behind a 21-point, 20-rebound explosion from B. Roush. The big man punished the paint and reminded everyone Hemet's interior is no joke.

Key Takeaways
• Kings Knights just crushed a top rival. They're for real.
• Yanzhao’s 55 might be the single most explosive scoring night of the year.
• Wavy Gates’ dream run ends in dramatic fashion—can they bounce back?
• Wasted Potential has the deepest frontcourt rotation in the league.
• V. Fraser is anchoring a Mildcats team on the rise.

Final Word:
Day 14 was loud, lopsided, and lethal. The Great 8 looks sharper by the day, but the Big 8 isn’t backing down. With Fraser, Yanzhao, and the Knights all showing out—and Wavy Gates finally falling—the playoff race just hit another gear. Will the Great 8 or Big 8 emerge on top? Buckle up—this ride's just getting wild.

Stay sharp.

Thanks! I'm trying and yes I would love to do that

Maybe this the season, unless Isaiah decides to keep adding more 200K salary players... I'm poor, I could use some of that NBBA money loan

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 15 Recap (May 27, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Wasted Potential Unleashes Hell, Bandeira and Pelowski Light It Up, and the Idiots Take Down Royalty
Day 15 was a feast of dominance and firepower. Wasted Potential obliterated Big Forest, Smallfries flexed their playmaking muscle, and Village Idiots knocked off the defending champs. Oh, and G. Short and A. Santos shared MVP honors with two very different—but equally devastating—performances.

Wasted Potential Dismantles Big Forest
This was a beatdown of historic proportions. Wasted Potential throttled Big Forest 129–72 behind suffocating defense (18 blocks!) and balanced scoring. L. Pelowski poured in 36 points while M. Dutton owned the paint with 6 swats. Santos’ 24 & 23 outing was the lone bright spot for Big Forest—but it was buried under an avalanche.

Smallfries’ Dynamic Duo Shines in Storm Showdown
Calderón and Bandeira were in full sync as the Friez beat Harbor City 117–104. Calderón dished 15 assists with 3 steals, while Bandeira dropped 35 in a dazzling display. With 34 team assists, this was peak execution from a team firing on all cylinders.

Idiots Stun the Champs
Village Idiots shocked Wavy Gates 111–102 and handed the champs their second straight loss. With Wavy looking uncharacteristically sloppy and Portobello fouling out late, the Idiots took full advantage with smart ball movement and relentless effort. Don’t look now—but the Idiots are on the march.

Kings Knights Keep Cruising
Kings Knights dominated Corntucky Mildcats 113–84 with G. Short erupting for 36 points and 7 boards. Efficient, focused, and relentless, the Knights are looking more and more like the league’s most dangerous two-way team.

Flying Ostriches Down Baker Street
The Ostriches stayed red hot with a 102–89 win over the Irregulars. Yanzhao didn’t drop 50 this time—but Flying O’s defense did the job, forcing turnovers and nabbing 11 steals. This team just keeps checking all the boxes.

Blue Ocean Sinks SomeTeam’s Hopes
A crisp 106–92 win by Blue Ocean reminded everyone that this squad, when clicking, can hang with anyone. The flow was steady, and the energy higher than SomeTeam could match on this night.

Tar Heels #1 Crush Mambas
A 103–69 demolition. The White Mambas had no answers as Tar Heels #1 rolled behind a total team effort. H. Asraf was the steady engine once again. Heels are starting to look scary.

Hemet Hooligans Flatten southpaw army
Another long night for southpaw army, who were outclassed 116–43. B. Roush cleaned the glass again, and Barbarossa’s motor never stopped. Hooligans handled business.

Key Takeaways
• Wasted Potential’s frontcourt is destroying souls—and stat sheets.
• G. Short quietly becoming a star for the surging Knights.
• Village Idiots might be the most underrated threat left standing.
• Bandeira + Calderón = a Smallfries formula that might just work deep in playoffs.
• Wavy Gates look shaky—are they hitting their first real skid?

Final Word:
Day 15 was an eye-opener. The top contenders made noise—but so did the underdogs. Wasted Potential looked terrifying, the Idiots pulled off a power move, and two MVPs rose from opposite ends of the standings. With only a few rounds left, every game is now a message. Who’s rising? Who’s falling? And who’s already too late?

Don’t blink.

USA II.1 Power Rankings – Post-Day 15 (Season 68)
By Buzzer-Manager

With just past half point of the season, the race for playoff seeding is heating up—and the balance of power is shifting fast. Blowouts, upsets, and a major roster move have all stirred the pot. Here’s where every team stands going into the stretch run.

1. Flying Ostriches (14-1, +484)
Still the gold standard. Top defense (lowest PA), elite ball movement, and fewest turnovers. Their only loss was razor-thin. They’ve beaten good teams and crushed bad ones—this is the most complete team in the league.

2. Kings Knights (12-3, +310)
Efficient, physical, and dangerous on both ends. G. Short is quietly becoming a two-way star, and this roster has no glaring weaknesses. Among the league leaders in FG%, 3PT%, and rebounding—real title threat.

3. TAR HEELS #1 (12-3, +327)
Under the radar but deadly. Best team FG%, top-tier defense, and a consistent machine led by H. Asraf. They don’t win flashy—but they win clean. Their point differential is no joke.

4. Wavy Gates (13-2, +311)
Still atop the Big 8, but recent losses raise eyebrows. Their metrics remain elite—top in FG%, blocks, and efficiency—but the cohesion isn’t what it once was. Still a contender, but the shine has dulled a bit.

5. Smallfries (9-6, +140)
The most surgical passing team just added a nuke. Enter: Dawid Oskroba, a $208,132-salary PF scoring machine. With Bandeira and Calderón already clicking, the Friez now have the interior punch to become a true juggernaut. The ceiling? Championship-level—if they put it all together in time.

6. Wasted Potential (9-6, +272)
Top-3 in rebounding and blocks. L. Pelowski and M. Dutton dominate the paint. Their 57-point beatdown of Big Forest sent a clear message: this team is built for the playoffs, and their best might still be coming.

7. Village Idiots (8-7, +114)
Their gritty win over Wavy Gates proves they’re not just pesky—they’re legit. Balance across the board and trending up fast. If the matchups fall their way, they could absolutely bust a bracket or two.

8. Blue Ocean (9-6, +79)
Good talent, good execution, but consistency remains an issue. Their wins are convincing, but losses are flat. Hard to know what version shows up in crunch time—but the tools are there.

USA II.1 Power Rankings – Part 2
By Buzzer-Manager (cont.)

9. Baker Street Irregulars (8-7, +121)
Smart team with strong defense and solid passing. Lack some scoring depth and offensive variety, but still a tough out. They could grind their way into the second round if the cards fall right.

10. SomeTeam (8-7, +57)
Respectable record, but slipping in form. Their shooting is near the bottom of the league, and recent results have been shaky. Metrics say they’re average—and that might not be enough down the stretch.

11. Hemet Hooligans (6-9, -189)
They hustle. Roush and Barbarossa give effort every night, and they dominate weaker teams. But against playoff squads? They just don’t have the firepower. Best of the lower-tier, but capped.

12. Big Forest (1-14, -279)
Santos puts up big numbers, but that’s about it. Their lone win is ancient history now, and they were completely dismantled by Wasted Potential. Offense can’t keep pace, and defense is leaking.

13. Corntucky Mildcats (5-10, -200)
Their offensive woes are crippling—worst FG% in the league. They play hard and defend better than the record suggests, but they’ve hit a ceiling.

14. The White Mambas (4-11, -207)
Some fight, but not enough talent. Defensively vulnerable, and offense disappears for long stretches. A couple flashes early, but the story’s written.

15. Harbor City Storm (2-13, -258)
Tough season. They’ve been competitive in spurts, but turnovers and defensive lapses always undo the effort. They’re rebuilding, and it shows.

16. southpaw army (0-15, -1082)
Historically bad. Worst FG%, worst PA, worst point differential by nearly 800. A -72 average margin of defeat is almost unheard of. Nothing more to say.

Final Word:
Ostriches, Knights, and Heels are your top dogs—no doubt. But the next tier is thick with dangerous contenders. The Smallfries’ move may be the season’s biggest swing, and the Idiots are surging late. Meanwhile, Wavy Gates and Wasted Potential need to tighten the screws before it’s too late. The bottom? A total bloodbath.

We’re entering the final stretch—every result now echoes into playoff seeding. Stay locked in.
