yes, his OD isn't good, but nevertheless there is no way a 30k-SF lets 71 points rain on him.
My Team isn't a team of monooskillers, and at least they are really good scorers. But obviously not in this case.
But I'm kinda relieved you guys didn't came up with a fully satisfying explanation yet![:)](/images/conf/emoticons/smile.png)
But please, go on!
His player scoring a lot in that scenario is to be expected. If he's shooting from outside, and the man guarding him has awful OD, you have to imagine that a large percentage of the outside shots are scored. In fact, while I can't view the PBP and won't take the time to watch the game on the viewer, I would guess that he probably shot better on shots from the outside where it said he was guarded by your player than on assisted shots.
Of course, that in itself isn't enough to lose a game - a guy putting up a big number with patient just means that the rest of the team isn't scoring. To actually lose the game, you'd need to have a major problem with turnovers and poor passing. Wait, you had 8 assists to 18 TO, while your opponent had 19:9? Gosh, your C/PFs alone had 8 TO.
I might also guess that his outside box and one meant his best outside defender was guarding your PG, which may explain why he put up a whopping zero assists all game.
