As MrJ noted, this is strictly not allowed. Becoming a non-HG team during any part of season is the most serious violation you could make (unless we count also playing non-HG players in a match, but that may not receive another tier penalty in finalized rule set).
While the whole rules/penalties section is still under construction/finalization, I can already reveal that this non-HG rule will be enforced very strictly, and penalties from that will be as presented before in my and in MrJ's suggestions - out of current and next season of HGL. We can not afford to make a HG league non-HG league - so no exceptions.

Now that I'm still in a process of checking out teams (if they have only eligible players), I would like to ask that all HGL participating teams would do a double check if they have any doubt whatsoever, whether or not all their players are originals (gifted to them), homegrown players or someone they have bought earlier.

If these players are spotted later on, the result will be similar than if one would become non-HG team during the season, so immediate dismissal and withdrawal of participation right for next season. I'm sure none of you, nor I can ensure you HGL wants that, so let's all deal with and take care of the possible roster issues before Season 1 gets started.

So please, if you have any players that do not comply with HGL rules, sell or fire them immediately and please let us know on any official forum (or on this thread, or by BBMail to me) what you plan to do with them. Doing that saves me a lot of work, and saves your team for later disqualifying.

as Wagner noticed I have two players nonHG(one will be fired this week and second will be sold this week).
I just purchased them to have minimal salry covered recently.

Regadring MrJ sitaution:
option 1: we can skip results with his team(if he decided to give up 1st season of our league)
option 2: for me it's ok that MrJ will not use non HG players during our league (I know we have rules.....)
option 3: maybe there is reserve team which can join our league and arrange games in exactly the same time as MrJ games?

Maybe we should vote or wait for some decision by MrJ (maybe two days so you have time to think )

Full rules are still to be published, so I understand that you wrote this. But this will be something that can't be voted on. HGL, as long as I'm Commissioner at least, will never become a non-HG league. :)

Like I mentioned in BBMail to you, this rule will be strictly enforced. Should one fail to comply with it, they are out for the current and following season of HGL, so your 'option 1' would have to be used for this kind of team, or then, as the most likely scenario could also be, utilize 0-50 forfeit loss-policy for that team for the whole duration of current season.

So to avoid becoming disqualified yourself, if you are going to sell player(s) instead of firing them, please make sure your selling time ends before April 7th, 15.30EET DST (14.30 normal time, official HGL match time) so that you have time to fire possibly non-sold ineligible players on time, and only have eligible players in your roster when Season 1 starts.

If you (or any other HGL team, of course) have ineligible players in your roster at the time Season 1 starts, you will be disqualified from Seasons 1 and 2 of HGL. We surely do not want that to happen (but will enforce this rule strictly), so I reminded you here once again. :)

As for your 'option 3', it would be handy to have a reserve teams-list for such unexpected situations. Reserve teams couldn't step up once season would have started, but it would be useful backup system for situations like this. I mean nobody knows if someone of us just decides to throw in the towel just before season begins (or fail to comply with HG rules), and that would cause us an unpleasant situation (not ideal to have 15 forfeit loss-teams in schedule/league table). Unlikely, but still remotely possible situation...
