Denny Hall (all-time great potential) is up. He does have a $3m offer but I listed him a little higher, previously with regret and now with allure and emotion. Making him into a monster could be "fun" if you have patience with slow pops. Hell, I'm having second thoughts about selling him already but I've already agreed to let him go and won't back out from that.

Judging from his proficient GS, a salary approximation is much lower than anticipated. Still very high, but tolerable for me.

Wish he could have stayed in Canada. The good news is the guy who bought him is a high level manager so his GS should remain good. Bad news is it looks like he probably isn't training bigs, so this could really hurt his development.

I'm hoping one of their other guard trainees has capped and they'll slide Hall in. Should someone want to ask the manager if they plan on training him, and if so, in what?

$4.3 million. Wow. Considering that he's nearing the end of his productive training years that's a huge haul.

The good news is that his new manager is going to train him. The bad news is that his new manager is going to train JS? I am working on convincing him to create an inside beast but he does not want to pay the salary :(

But you might end up with a really good LI small forward when he's done. But if I remember correctly, he might need a little OD boost too.

Isn't the NT more in need of SF's then PF's down the road? We've got a few excellent young PF's already.

GL making that happen Beanz, although JS and One on one for a little bit may not be a bad thing, it'll mean he'll need to get trained when he's 27 too though. Can only avoid paying the extra salary for so long.
And I think our PFs are good, but nobody comes close to what Hall has the potential to be, I think he can be the best Canadian ever (in the absolute sense, not relative to other players of his time). I don't think he can ever be good enough defensively as an SF though, so we'd need to switch his defensive assignments and I don't think we have anyone that can do that effectively.

The NT has a far bigger need for big men in my opinion. Especially true PF's! We have constantly had PF/SF types but never a true "All World" PF. Hall has the potential to be one of the best ever, but still requires some significant training.

He's got about 4-5 more trainings until he turns 26. Perhaps I'm wrong but I just don't see him ever reaching his full potential with his training speed cut down so significantly. What salary do you think he could reach being trained as a PF?

Two pops in IS and rebounding along with one more pop in ID would make Hall pretty impressive and a heck of a PF. I suspect that all 5 of those pops could easily be done prior to the end of next season. I am guessing his salary would increase to roughly 280k, which is still managable imo.

Surprised he went for $4.3m. I crazily overpaid originally, and although I tried catering my training to him and prioritized him and had a level 6 trainer, he did not pop efficiently. I did try to make that clear to potential buyers.

Absolutely wanted him to stay in Canada. If I knew beforehand that a foreign user was going to buy him and train JS, I think I would've paid any price to retain him, and became a farm team. Easy to say now, but I honestly think I'd have done that. On a personal level, though, it is nice to have made money on him after wasting so much money the past few seasons.

God that JS training annoys me. It's not even like I have enough experience with JS at PF to have such a strong opinion, but he could be such an amazing player for NT with more inside pops. With as little as 2 IS pops and 3 REB pops he'd be completely unstoppable... and he'd obviously be capable of much more.
