Lots of shuffling again today!

Big win for Cathar over the Traptors. Chicken Hawks had a huge come from behind win against the East Gary Eagles. The Door Mat's win streak finally comes to an end. The ranking numbers are kind of forming into groups, so I've seperated them out a little bit.

POWER RANKINGS
1. Ron Swanson, 19.813 (EVEN)
2. Demon Hoosiers, 18.678 (UP 1)
3. Cathar Heretics, 17.587 (UP 1)
4. Toronto Traptors, 17.467 (DOWN 2)

5. The Door Mats, 13.170 (EVEN)
6. Natellio, 12.380 (UP 1)
7. Chicken Hawks, 12.358 (DOWN 1)

8. East Gary Eagles, 4.598 (EVEN)
9. Lake Charles, 2.065 (UP 2)

10. Bushrods, -2.577 (EVEN)
11. Extra Crispy, -3.255 (DOWN 2)
12. Kentucky Wyldcats, -5.113 (EVEN)

13. Lengends, -10.640 (EVEN)
14. Real Big Tymerz, -13.165 (EVEN)
15. Eclypze, -21.030 (EVEN)

16. End of Story, -62.320 (EVEN)

This has got to be one of the tougher III leagues. Really, any team in the top 7 is a contender to win it all, and I could see a couple of the lower teams making a surprise playoff run.

I agree. This has been one of the toughest leagues for 3 seasons in a row now. The difference this season is that no one or two teams are completely ahead of everyone else. In Season 19, Liberty and Power (now in the NBBA) and Flash Mashers were way ahead of everyone (until the Traptors took down the Mashers in round 1). Then last season Dong Energy came in and was dominant from day 1, plus Flash Mashers were still around with an enormous salary. So, they both promoted.

But really those seasons we all knew it was going to be one of two teams going for promotion. This season is still not halfway through, but I'm not seeing anyone completely pulling away from the pack this season, even with a big purchase or two. There's just too much balance on everyone's teams.

The weeks leading up to the playoffs will be VERY interesting. It's going to be tough for those in the playoff hunt to bank enthusiasm while trying for home court advantage and even a spot in the playoffs.

Yeah I agree, the two seasons I was here I knew it was either me or LP or Dong. Traptors and Ron were always in the discussion, but it was more of a two team race.

I miss this league, my new league has two teams going bot and nobody ever talks. I've done a very excellent job of screwing up my team this season, so hopefully I'll see you guys next season! Just a hint: If you decide to tank don't change your mind and buy a half-a$$ed team and then have to sell it off again a few weeks later. You end up losing a lot of money :)

Please don't come back to this league.

Bummer about your season! Tanking is a tough way to go. I noticed the other day you decided not to tank after all. I can't keep up with your team!

Can't believe there's two bots in a D2 league...

Postal and Shamless are both on their way.

I decided to tank, changed my mind, bought a team to try and stay in the league for at least one season. But now I've taken a hard look and decided I'm just going to end up losing a lot of money doing that. So I've sold off three of the five players I was trying to turn into a team. I'm making nearly 300k a week and I'll be back soon! I actually wouldn't mind coming back here like Ron did haha...

Big win for Cathar over the Traptors.

I got very lucky. Toronto's best player went down 2 minutes into the match and I had an enth shift and homecourt and it still came down to the last couple of minutes. I'll take it, but I didnt expect it.

The battle at the bottom of the great 8 is crazy as well. I am scrambling to stay in the top 5

Uh oh.

So the highest salary team just increased they're salary by over $100,000. That should make things a little harder. I take back that there won't be a team that pulls away from the pack with a big purchase.
