The current standings and playoff matchups are not out yet, so I'll say them here.
The team with the lower number on the left always gets home court advantage.
Big 8:
1. Ashcroft Xerocoles vs.
8. Toronto Assassins

2. Calgary Spitfires vs.
7. Grant Raptor
Rematches of the last game of the regular season

Great 8:
3. Toronto Knockouts vs.
6. Super Slam Dunk Thatll Make You Sore the Day After

4. Harlem Strikers vs.
5. Royal Windsor (bot)

Only one of the first round games is not a rematch of the last game of the regular season (SSD @ TKO).

Every team that was supposed to win won.
One of the relegation games though, Borovo over Jugglers 112-109, was a bit of an upset. Let's see if Borovo can win again at home and stay here in II.3.

KK Borovo has a fairly strong 4 player roster with good GS, with a pure monster PG and with two good bench players. I really didn't want to face them in a relegation series, that's for sure.
Jugglers has a more consistent roster and should have been able to beat them, but don't forget that our conference was a lot more competitive than the Great 8, with a big battle between 3rd and 6th place. I don't know about the others, but my enth was quite low at the end of the season... whereas KK Borovo was out of even 5th place contention for 4 weeks now and was battling against bots or teams tanking to be in the relegation series. So his enth is probably 10+ vs maybe 5-6 for Jugglers. That's what made the difference I think. Next game @ KK Borovo will be even tougher for the Jugglers I'm afraid :/

Yeah, that last game of the season was a big one for you.

Proof that sometimes CT on the last regular season game is a good idea ;) But if I had lost the game or even an injury of a starter during the game would have killed my chances of staying in d2

If you had won by 5 less points you'd be playing Borovo.

Yep, that's why an injury during the game would have been enough to seal my fate :/

And by doing that (ie winning our match on the second to last day) you made my job even harder!

tbh it was one of those 50/50 games for me. I barely beat you (with some luck i'd say) and barely lost to Jugglers. Both games came down to the wire, you just happened to be the unlucky one :P maybe next season! :D
