The question is.
What is the goal?

My goal in a manager game was always! Never give up, no rebuild if possible, compete in the highest League.
You dont get so many titles then others but i think 5 Saisons of rebuilding, saving money and then going to the title is to boring and to easy

But competing for 25 saisons a row is more difficult.

Do you know the Simulator fbb (fast Break basketball)? I play this since 2004 i think in some communitys.

My most Important goals
Team historical Team Performance top 3 (winning % regular saison)
Most reached playoffs of All teams
Longest streak of reached playoffs in the League.

I don't fully agree. I'm happy if you enjoy the game this way, but be careful with what you say about what is boring or easy - it is just your opinion, not a fact.

One thing is tanking, which is obviously an easier way (perhaps more boring) to make money, and another thing is to find a way to be competitive while saving money and training in order to make the team even more competitive. Take my first team as an example (1st division of Spain, paying the salary floor all season and beating teams which pay 200-300k more than me).

What is easy for me is to have plenty of 34+ players with high salaries and have to beat teams who are paying less and training several top players (and therefore have usually worse game shapes) because they want to become better. This is fun for you; for me, it is boring as I'd see drops every week, less money every week, and no great trainees that could help my team become better in the future.

I agree with your idea of how to enjoy this game, but I know too that I won't win any trophy playing like this.

But, eachone must play like he enjoys the game... ¿more easy or difficult? This is no important if I enjoy...
I enjoy planning each season as it would be the last, planning incomes and expenses to raise breakeven.
Others managers enjoys the game making a plan for 5 or 6 seasons... It's more difficult for me this, because I don't enjoy it... but for another people to play as I do, will be more difficult for sure.

For me, your question is not a global question, but a personal question that eachone must answer for himself.

Completely true! Unless the Hongkonese team can beat Minuto 92:48 in the last league game, he will be 6th and Kaskarots 5th. He bought a nice player yesterday, so the POut will be fun
