but that does not mean that the game should be about economics.

The game based on tactic and one tactic is that you should try to have better players than your opponent, good players costs money and how you can earn faster money - you should buy cheap and sell expensive!!!

If you think a little bit into future there will be hopefully a lot of more teams at BB and of course a lot of more leagues, how do you think could a new manager come to premier league without a good financial tactic? It would be boring because the teams in higher leagues would have the best players the most money and the most experience

- thats my opinion and because of that I think daytrading is one tactic of this game although I cant like like if someone makes more money and has better player than I :-)

U've only one trasfer, pay more attention to the market and you'll see that something should be improved. In my opinion I would prefer to go in premier league becuase I've choosen the good player and the good tactic for my team, for sure I will not have satisfaction to arrive in premier league only because I wasted 80% of my time making trading. Think that without trading eveyone can arrive in premier league, with day trading only who plays as a day trader can do that, do you think this is a beautiful game? Anyway I don't think I can convince you because we have completely a different vision of the game; I can understand you but if the game will continue in this way I think I'll leave it simply because is not more fun.

Sorry i didn't make myself very clear, what i ment and the other guy understood what i was saying, is a value for people to refrence so beginers or people who aren't knowledgeable about the transfer market have a refrence point when buying a player and hopefully choose not to way overly pay for the player. I didn't mean BB should actully set the price of the player.

I understand that.

It's not feasible to do anything like that with the myriad of available skills.

HT is more feasible with the limited amount of skills relevant to a position.

I think you neeed to read my post again and edit your comment after that...not in one single place did I say that economics should not be a part of BB.

Just as you are saying "how do you think could a new manager come to premier league without a good financial tactic?", I could say "how do you think could a new car win the Indy 500 without good wheels?".

Once wheels become a too important factor in car racing and the importance of things like the actual car and pilot (compare BBall game and coaching) becomes limited in comparison with the wheels, the racing competition whil inevitably loose interest.

So just as the car needs good wheels, BB needs good economics. however, this isn't even close to mean that the Indy 500 should be a wheel race or that BB should be an econmics game.

I agree with that, and there is actually one more problem. The number of transfers in HT is way higher than in BB, therefore there is a lot easier to gather data for a fair comparison.

In essence, if it was possible to do a good "transfer compare" I would say it would be a fine addition, otherwise it would just create trouble.

A different way to do a rough, but still somewhat helpful comparison would be to create a metric that compares the amount of training needed to reach the skill a player has and compare him with similar players, then supply a confidence interval of an estimated price. (I am not saying that this would work, just that it could...)

It is a basketball game, and should be played as one.

Must set this in stone.

If three trades per day seem reasonable (without taxes/contracts/heavy effects on the team performance) then this is NOT a basketball simulator... is just a worst version of Hattrick (the are more limitation for massive trading there -_-') with "jump shot" instead of "scoring". What a shame, I thought it was different when I sign up five months ago.

Tough talk for a guy with 61 transfers. And there seems to be quite a bit of profit to be made in less than 3 trades a day:
Total Sales: $3957313
Total Purchases: $2506900
Transfer Balance: $1450413

I'm not singling you out here, but why not call for 3 transfers a month? A limit on the number of transfers in a season?

Any action taken to hamper trading will likely effect something else unforseen. There are plenty of more important things within BB to be fixed without worrying about where fools spend their money and how much they spend. A simple read through the bugs and suggestions forums prove that.
