So you commented on B3 final but why didn't you comment on recent magical Czech Republic win against mighty Spain with 2-3 zone :)

NT Czech Republic players not = VS players... Versatility + Haná, but good game and brave gamble... 2-3 caused many faults of VS...

I just toss the facts, you lot work out why.

For the season QR has shot 53.1% in regular season, in a BBBest final where you expect the best defense he actually improved that. (53.8%). Also QR averages 25.5 assists in regular season, against a BBB finalist defese he was able to rack 27 of them.

QR is shooting 18.7 FT a game, against the zone he shot 33 FT.

VS was able to get 33% of all the rebounds in QR's basket.

QR made 116.1 points per 100 posesions (93 possesions)
VS made 110.1 points per 100 posesions (107 possesions)

This BBB, M. Raud averages 14.3 shots and Q. Khoury averages 13.7. Against a 2-3 zone they shot 14FG each.
This BBB, M. Raud averages 19.8 points per game and Q. Khoury averages 19.2 ppg. Against a 2-3 zone they made 22 points each.
This BBB, M. Raud averages a 59.3 Field goal percentage, and Q. Khoury 61.2%. Against a 2-3 zone they shot 57% and 64% respectively.

I have some other data here. The fouling distribution. There wasn't any last-minute automatic fouling (unless Haiguang's last foul), so the results are pretty accurate. I'm not surprised by the results, by the way for some people I think it could be interesting.

[SG] Medrano made 2 out of 2 fouls (100%) on big men (PF+PF), on a defence switch
[SF] Kienbink made 0 out of 1 fouls (0%) on big men, he switched on Leevike (SG) for a foul, I think it's acceptable
[PF] Marinc made 0 out of 1 fouls (0%) on little men, so he didn't foul on switches (if he usually switches)
[C] Haiguang made 2 out of 4 fouls (50%) on little men (SG+SF), on a defence switch

6 out of 11 shooting fouls (7 if we consider Kienbink switching on a SG) are made because of bad switches, and 4 of them have been made by little men.

Great end to the tournament... brave move with the 2-3.... was this your way of helping all 50,000 remaining users get the message across to the BB's??

So... do I still have a chance of being the first 'Asian' team to win the tournament twice?!...... maybe next season I'll get a nicer group stage draw and see if I can hang about for a bit longer......

Would be nice to have another $10mil in the bank though :(

An explaination of the BBs about the tactics should be really useful, here the options are only 2: manvsman and 3-2. In attack look inside or run&gun. They can add other 1000 tactics but at the end since the beginning these 2 options are still the best, why?

Very very nice and useful analysis you did here! Basically what your analysis shows is you either have to play PFs with great OD on guard's position or guards...well, they can't play on PF/C spot. Basically you have to do what Checzh NT did against Spain...

Everyone says that 2-3 doesn't work...but it's the only tactic that make things still entertaining :D

We should put a rule that force the strongest team to play always 2-3 defence,so at least we will have much more surprising results and have fun with this game
