In other news: BMG is 0-3. Another season of concentrating on the cup?

Well, time to stop training guys out of position at least.

75% of the league is either 3-0 or 0-3. Weird season so far.

ardain I'm assuming you're from Reston, VA? If so, that makes two Virginians in the NBBA! (Topic from the game chat)

It's always funny how you can see someone's activity on the forum dwindle with their rank. I guess I just want to hide under a rock right now.

Update after 5 games:

Big 8

(1) Silverbacks at home on top of the division after a thrilling OT win over the (2) Bangers. Bangers were consistently in the lead, up by 10 with 7:30 to go. A big 3 by the Bangers tied it up at the end of regulation, but SB prevailed in the extra time. Bangers put in more effort.
(3) Thumpers at home over (4) AirBallers. My new C trainee showing his worth(less) delivering 11 quality minutes before fouling out. That makes 3 of 6 games this season after only one foul out in his last 3 seasons and under 2 per game. Logsdon delivered a solid 3 points on 1-12 shooting for his $220k per week. Reston put in more effort.
(5) Bulls away vs. TWSS (6). TWSS holds at home in a very balanced effort. Lapis had a big game for TWSS with 37 points and TWSS put up a large rebounding differential. Enthusiasm was a bit of a surprise with Bulls putting in more effort.
(7) Nashville vs. Grubbs (8). Nashville had a big offensive output in the RnG, putting up a sensational rating and hitting 11-24 3s. Grubbs jumped out to an early lead, but the big shots added up for Nashville. Grubbs played with more effort.

Great 8

(1) LMA won away over the (3) Jests. Close game by two similar teams. They were very close in shooting % and provided a decent # of points given the strength of the two defenses. Both teams played with equal effort.
(2) Fire at home over the (4) Wiggles. Stifling defense by the Fire powered this one. Gonzales played well inside, but 1-10 from the SF as part of 2-21 from 3 overall for the Wiggles was killer. Fire missed half of their FTs or this would have been a bigger differential. Equal effort.
(5) Bruins at home over (8) Ambitious. Bruins put up a Tremendous inside rating in a solid win. Ambitious still looking for their first NBAA win. Equal effort.
(6) Burlington at home over (7) EDH. Strong outside effort with a Motion offense by BMG countered the inside attack of EDH. New pickup Matt Hurst played well for EDH. Equal effort.

New additions / sales since 8/2:

USA mega-defender Matt Hurst for EDH was a great pickup for $1M. EDH also dumped 31 year old C Soltani just before a 3 week injury~
Ambitious added a nice $115k C.
BMG added a solid US $80k guard.
Bruins picked up old time US NT PF stalwart Kelly Varner to provide well rounded support.
LMA finally unloaded Pardo for $1.8M.
TWSS bought a nice $80k guard.
I bought a PG and a foul challenged C trainee.
