I dont really have any interest in being part of a succession plan. If i'm voted in it means you want my input in the team. I'll also help any other managers with their personal teams if they ask.

See this sort of annoys me a bit. You go on about how you dislike our succession plan, saying it is rigged and leaves no room for any outside manager. I've been involved in the U21 team for around 4 seasons, just at the end of mllama's reign. Mentoring young Aussies and being apart of the tactical discussion and along with Iwen, helped us to our first continental final since the beginning of the Aussie U21 squad. I believe I've proven myself as a competent manager on the representative scale, and it's all thanks to the "succession plan" we have in place. Scouting, training, tactics, enthusiasm were all things I learned throughout this process essentially preparing me to take on this role.

However, the part that grinds my gears is that you wish to take the top job without being a part of the Aussie community. Sure you have your league forums, but what can you honestly say you've done for the community? As many have stated in this thread, we've never seen you before, You just kind of popped out of nowhere. You say you began in season 3 (which I'm not doubting) why haven't we seen you around? I started this game in season 12, I just had the initiative and drive within this game to be involved.

After addressing all these points, what still gives you the opinion that you are the best candidate? Not personally attacking you or anything, it's just that some of your comments seem very cocky and with no credentials to back it up.

As for my personal team. My tactics are spot on

I'll also help any other managers with their personal teams if they ask.

After eight seasons you are still in division III, after eight seasons both Iwen and I were in the ABBL.

we dont have to deal with idiots

Good to see that you have stopped insulting us.

I dont really have any interest in being part of a succession plan.

Translation: No I wont help the team even though I claim brilliant insights into the game. I am not a team player.

I know I should just let this go but for some reason your insulting Iwen, tremell and Leeroy has got my goat.

Your points on pace are valid but again, it is easy to make comments on games already played

Scouting is what thats called.

That's just a tad bit condescending.

Just a question for a bit of an explanation about the "succession plan"

Speaking on behalf of a new manager, how are we supposed to get any consideration to be involved in this? I know "have some input in the offsite forum and give your opinions in tactis, etc. But personally as "buzzerbeaters best" I asked numerous times to be involved and help get mentored so I could be in a similar position to what leeroy has been in and it seems as if I have been ignored perhaps or just not taken seriously. I scouted opposition players for the NT, tried to ask questions about strategies and even a once or twice suggested some tactics. However even then my suggestions are "wrong". Why? Because I have not experienced any sort of mentorship that the veterans suppose they have going on. I asked for a mentor on the offsite forum. Still there has been no reply. The only time I receive help is if I ask one little specific question. That's all the help I get

Now I'm not totally again the "succession plan" and I know all of the new managers could do a lot more to get involved but I'm just haven't seen enough of this mentor thing or the roles to assist NT coaches hasn't been given to anyone besides the coaches in the "clique" (in my short experience playing this game)

So all I'm asking is that the veterans be a bit more open (even the they say they already are) to new managers trying to find their place in the Australian community and allowing us to climb up the ranks with your help

It's not an attack if it sounds like one as I respect all of you guys and am working hard to gain your respect

I'm sure their is much work to do as a NT coach that if you put your hand up whoever the new U21 coach is will be willing to use your services to your current strengths which may make their job just that little bit easier.

Maybe they can offer you closer mentoring in return?

Sounds good. I'd help the NT coach or the U21 NT coach any way that I could.

Oh and sorry for some of the English errors in my post, it's hard to keep track of everything I have written on this little iPod and sometime I press the wrong thing hehe
