What would you say is a reasonable price for this particular player ?

Hey AthrunZala,

Why are the GM's waiting for him to sell that player ?
What is the problem with this manager, has he been doing suspicious transfers in the past ?

I don't think AZ will tell more, I don't think he will discuss GM stuff here is allowed :s

Very nice to see much more life around here, it's very pleasant :) Hope it stays that way.

Speaking of the competition, seems the "Big 3" on the red side is already digging in a serious advance, while things seem mure more tense on the other conference.

Bradok, don't you regret scheduling your rebuild now ? It seemed like the perfect time to fight for the BBBL spot ...

And I had tipped FTA as possible outsiders, they're giving me right so far !

Today I received a reply from the Czech manager and since we talked about it, I wanted to share it:

> Hi,
> Most of the things I can tell you are logical things, but still very important:
> - Make sure your arena is big enough: your income must be high enough: money is everything
> - Try to have players from your own country: it gives bonus money from your fans
> - Look for multiskill players: one of my searches i always do to check for a player on the transfer markt is a player that has at least 5 in all skills.
> - Don't forget to keep on training your players

Hi,
- I started small extension of area
- this is really super advice about nationality of players (from now I will buy only Slovak players)
- why are multiskill player better than normal player?
- training - currently I train especially PG position (I am trying to catch 48 min/week with 3 players), but after team rebuild it will be not possible...what are you training ? do you have some strategy for training?
Thank you one more time!
Milosh

Look especially at my second advice :p
I suggest you all give this advice to foreign managers ;)

i am not allowed to discuss his past. However that owner has caused some major damage to some former and current BBBL managers and since i didn't want to mail them specifically i made a little post to assure them that he's being monitored very closely.

that is all the information you will receive from me at this time.

concerning his price, GM's think differently than normal managers. each situation is unique in it's own right

if you were to ask me about his price, the first thing i do is look for simular players. Now since i can't post links of names (because it is considered advertising while they are on the TL) i'll just post their skills.

i got one player: potential superstar, 60k salary. skillset: 14/12/17/17/17/10 10/7/8/6, 26y old. current price: 1.4M, no bids
second player: MVP, 140k, skillset: 16/12/16/17/17/16 9/9/5/7, 27y old. current price: 1.6M, no bids

Now Crauwels has some things going for him. Both nationalities of the players are from larger countries where as Crauwels is considered from a mid size community nation. Meaning that his chances of NT are slightely higher, giving him some extra room to manouvre with. However potential doesn't mean that he'll make it.

Also, if their is a bidding war, that is also a factor that is taken into account. had Crawels been from Spain, his value would be 1.5M, the fact that he's Belgian and that Belgian teams bid agressively for their own nationality means his value goes up (probably up to 2M). should a bidding war arise, then his value goes up a bitt too (after checking the potential link between the bidders are the original seller ofcourse).

And last but not least. Time of the season where he is sold also is taken into account.

those are just a couple of things that GM's have to consider when deciding if a price is fair or not (there are still unmentioned factors, but the ones i gave you are the ones that you should have considered logical). Ofcourse, we don't review each trade. only the ones we find highly suspicious or the ones that are reported to use from the community.

If anyone were to ask me what Crauwels would be worth, i'd say max 2M. maybe some more should he get into a bidding war. But 2.5M is a stretch for me unless if he fits perfectly for your training schedule. anything above that could be considered over the top.

as for Bradok: he's guaranteed to play at the very least a regulation game. rebuilding is good then. he can focus an entire season on training and could add some cheap old reinforcements for the end of the season to stay in the BBBL. if their ever was a time to do so, then now is that time. He probably could get a better draft than the 8th team on the red side if he wishes for it.

I need to train my young players 48min as centers to improve their inside skills so not possible for me to win games except if I would have secured the purchase of a monster number 3 AND number 4 with very good outside skills (no inside tactic possible with a 20yo player at a center position) plus inside and outside defensive skills to cover my young player's defensive weakness... No need to say that these kind of players are very expensive... There is very little interesting players on the TL for the moment (except at 4M but there is no bargain at that price even incredibly good players) and i don't want to buy average players or pay to much for them. Beside seeing the relative poor level on D2, being promoted (with 1M) do not seems that hard especially with the kind of money I have on my bank account. And, as Revo said, avoiding relegation might still be considered at the end of the season.

hello every body

first thanks to joe for his help to training Crauwels. really apprecitae your advices man.

About my past on buzzerbeater: I have no problem to talk about it I know manager Bradok isn't happy about my first team... yes I make BIG mistakeS on market with trading my own player to buy better one. I was young and very impatient to be in bbbl. I know I'm crazy! ;)
But now since I restart I think all my trade is correct, no? I restart with a goal to be a 100% belgian players in my teams but to start this year I change my mind about it...you know belgians players are RARE & EXPENSIVE

about value of Crauwels for 2M he will still in d3...
about NT: off course I'll be glad to have a player who joins our Lions but I know it'll be very hard.

thanks manager Eagle6175 to his interest of PCC It'll be very nice for his potentiel to play in bbbl

at the end I would like to thanks BB gms to accept my "second team"

have a nice season and enjoy the game
good luck

PresiDen

as i stated before. unless if you are reported for a trade, GM's probably won't look into it.

Everyone deserves a second chance, just don't squander it.

As For Crauwels: train him some more and then maybe 3M is acceptable as a price. But as for now, i posted the skills of simular players as Crauwels, so you know what his value is.

ps: you aren't the only sinner in Belgium. there are others too ;) and i keep tabs on those aswell. part of the job as they say.

pps: before you are concerned about Crauwels: should he be sold for more, you have my word that i'll hand it down to another GM. that way you can be assured that it was done from an objective point of view.

Good thing the Angels are watching then :D

Congratz Dartreb for the victory tonight, but it shows that it takes everything to beat Joe...home game, good guess with his game orientation...OT and 1 point ahead in the end, Vottem remains the strong favourite for the title.
Sorry to see that you lost another player on injury, that's two in two games and it won't be easy for you the next 2, 3 weeks :(
