Candidates please tell us about a player that you trained from 18 years old and how they turned out?

Watts, who just turned 21 would be my best trainee on the team. Since I joined half way through a season and he was created with my team, he started 5-6 pops behind some other 18 year olds in his year, plus he didn't have knockout starting skills. On 5/16/14 he had 56.8 TSP (using sublevels from USA training calc and backtracking pops) and now he has about 80.8 TSP from a mix of level 4 and 5 trainers.

With the introduction of GDP and now the new "NO Blank" changes. I am curious how you plan to have this team play?

Study the opposition tactics in previous games. Look at their GS. Look at their past GDP guesses. Will they use tie/nor enthusiasm? This should not be new for any of us as this is what should be done for league games. Our GDP guesses will be numerous if the game is not in doubt, whether big win or big loss. Tight games will require some extra finesse, research, gut feeling, and (hopefully) community feedback coming up with a consensus on the offsite. No blank is a new change and will require putting the best players we have for the matchups, tactics, and GS for starters, backups, and reserves.
What type of offence will you run? How will you manage the GDP? etc.

These are answered on the offsite.

GDP

I use GDP in games by looking at how the teams
have played their important games in the past.
This is how I set up for a game tactics

                      Canada Other Team
C DMI's go in here
PF DMI's go in here
SF DMI's go in here
SG DMI's go in here
PG DMI's go in here

Our Offense The Offenses they have played.

I look for our advantages and our and our differences and look at their enthusiasm.
I put the HCA on the sides and then I fill out my chart and I find out my enthusiasm.

How do my opposing candidates set up?

i almost never play blank lineup, so for me nothing change. the type of the offence is depend on the players, game shape and the opponent. it can be any
GDP i use if i'm sure in the opponent tactics. but i think that GDP s needed to use first of all in close games

Besides it's a myth that a coach that hasnt gone to div 2 or above cant do u21... as ive said before, its a differnent setup.. yuo can learn to be good in it and be creative.. like you'll have to be with canada..

Are you kidding me? BB looks like a money game recently.
I don't wanna named any manager here, some manager even has D2 or even D1 experience still do not know how to play this game. And if you ask all managers in D1 only could spend no more than 5 millions, i can't see any big different between they and me.

we have to keep ask them question to make sure how much they know is good enough.

we should understand one thing, there are few or small group of ppl dominate/contribute the community of canada or national team of canada. No doubt BB Canada need new blood, if we all wants more ppl step up to join or contribute. We keep complainting not enough ppl to train players, even not enough teams. But no one give them a chance.

sparky44 still a young manger, but he got the jointly attack from most veteran, and the funny thing is no one else wanna step out at the last two elections; if only those managers has experience of D2 or especially D1 could make the participation in this election, we better boycott it. In opposite, i am very appreciate Fwinns and Cletus step up for the election, and very thanks for the service of sparky44 at the last seasons.

beside, i would like to indicate one thing, i am not come here and try to take those senior manager down. RIP, beanerz, damian13ster......etc. did a lot to our community in/offsite. But we need to think about how to encourage those new manager but not destroy their ambition.

My questions are for Green, who some may believe is a top pick for the position.

You said earlier you are not an active forum poster, but more of a lurker.

Do you think this position is one you can manage in terms of time you must put in to not only win games, but scout players, formulate training plans, communicate with individual managers, and whip up interest and knowledge amongst the Canadian community with forum posts, BBmails, and offsite chatter?

Do you believe being a lurker going forward is the best for U21 Canada, or will you suddenly flick a switch and be posting all the time?

Do you believe you are that one person to steer the ship and be a conduit for a new active, passionate Canadian BB userbase?

Are you just a long time top division experienced manager or are you someone who will be proud to carry Canada's U21 flag into battle and strive to excel in a time interest is clearly waning in this management internet game?

Is "being polite" seriously one of your top three strengths?
