Either way, I think it's time for the BB's to reveal the real reason for this absurd rule.

Apparently you believe in some conspiracy theory?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

i think bb's should share more here about this matter,

we are already unhappy with the situation of this. at first i was strategic when i place players on the lineup making it possible for better subs.

but on the nail bitter game, imagine your star player with whom you expect to take that 3 pt shot for the win or tie suddenly was subbed because his stamina couldnt hold and you got your sub who is not even his half.

but it truly cruel . . . . we have to be subjective to this, meaning if he lose stamina while in bed due to injury wouldnt it nice to let the player recover on that as he plays.

i think we players dont mind if it takes more time for him to recover to his old form in stamina than compare to the drop in stamina while injury. come on bb's make this game something different than the other managerial games out there!

Conspiracy? Poor choice of word.

Considering your statement:

Either way, I think it's time for the BB's to reveal the real reason for this absurd rule.

That seems to imply that there's some sinister reason for the way stamina is handled.

That's what I was getting at.

Well, I have decided to simply forget all about stamina.

This week for the first time I trained all my team on stamina. We didn't get many games, so I thought it mihgt allow all players to hold stamina.

17 players stayed the same on stamina. 2 players both went DOWN. Both of those players had played over 24 minutes (and then trained stamina).

So sod that for a joke - just worry about the other skills.

On the other hand, stamina drops, game shape, and injuries are a necessary part of the balance of the game. So I'm going to have to simply say for now that this is something we are very actively thinking about and that changes of some sort will be forthcoming, but that at the same time, the end result is definitely going to include some mechanism to prevent teams from being too reliant on one over-trained player.

This is something we are working hard on, but we're going to try very hard to get it right this time, and that means not making changes before we have a good solution.

Thank you for telling us some of your thoughts.
In a way I do like the hard handling of stamina. It seems to have caused a stop in day trading (combined with the fee). With this strong policy on stamina drop when the player is playing too short time during the week, it is a loss in the players value when stamina and game shape drop. That I like!

Older than the rest ...

i wonder how many other teams with 24 players on their roster also like stamina as it is....??!!

I like the comment on too reliant on one overly trained player.... having re thought the whole stamina issue i and the comments that have flown about...

maybe a preseason where logically fitness is normally trained could be an idea...

after the GS reset managers could choose to intensively train stamina (reducing GS) during a week of scrimmages vs training form.... 1 week where you only have this 1 choice... ranging from 100% stamina 0% form to the opposite

The reward going to those who have sufficient stamina levels to start the season in better form.....as im sure everyone has looked at their schedule and either prefers their early games / run in the strategy would be to come flying out of the blocks or start off slow and make a charge at the end...
