What is going worse? You set coach picks from the depth chart, btw...

I know, this time it happened to 2 players of mine whom i put back up but had played starter (PG and SG) last 3 times it's just for my SG :))

also I know the answer is using strictly follow depth chart, but it will not help me to get the proper time of playing , especially when I know I will win easily or when I put weak players as starters and am worry about the last quarter if i win closely or lo0se!

it's hard to think there was no other choice but "strictly follow depth chart" since i am playing them for some season but it seems i got to think :P

If you want more control over your minutes, you've got to use strictly follow...

No, If you want to get ~36-12 minutes (starter-back up), you've got to use strictly follow...! ;)
I'm not a very amateur manager, just take a lo0k at my games and you'll find i usually use coach picks from the depth chart and depth chart until 4th and I have full control over my minutes and wins. better to say I had ;) I know how much might my players play while i'm setting the line up, oh sorry, I knew ;)

my problem is not how to work with coach authority, my problem is how they used to work and how they do. I know you are trying to correct the bugs ASAP, and I appreciate that. so, I sit back and enjoy strictly follow and wait to hear other options are correct.

ok, just a question then:
In this game (52703966)

i did use strictly follow depth chart, but trenton funk just played 3 minutes. He was set as a reserve at sf and is a better player then the one which played as starter- so why did he just play 3 minutes? Does this mean, that i don´t even have control over my minutes when i use strictly follow depth chart ?

In games where you lose most of the time, your coach will try and keep the starters in the game as long as possible in order to catch up, believing you've set the best possible players as starters. This is nothing unusual.

Did you set Gocke as Back up but Funk & Oser as Reserve?

Sorry, i haven't made my statement properly:
lütfüh nezih was set as a starter, his backup was trenton funk and reserve was again lütfüh nezih. this setup was made for every position except my training position. As i said before, I really can't understand, why trennton funk, a player who is much better than lütfüh nezih, receives just 3minutes playing time, when i play strictly follow depth chart. i would expect at least 12 minutes, but if this is normal, i may have to adapt my tactic. So thanks marin.
