You were saying that you can't afford 5 players like C, but as you know, centers are a lot more expensives than the rest of the poisitions.

I understand what you are saying and I agree in 1 point. Player A is less expensive. For a team, it's better to train the player like that, but there's one thing missing. Imagine player A vs Player C. If player A's team plays in motion,he will have advantage vs player C because he will bring him outside, making use of his JS vs player C's low OD. But if Player C goes look inside, he will own player A because he has a lot of advantage playing inside.

Maybe you are right saying that is better to have a player A but while there are players like C, you will need an Inside Defence to match those monsters. So it will be difficult to the BB world to change this.

PS: That player would give a great PF

But let's stop this discussion. I have another question for you. How will you manage your enthusiasm?

i am sorry... there are so many open questions not being answer yet by your team, and you keep asking me questions that I believe are irrelevant to wheter I can do this job or not...

All I want to say, without giving to much away to future U21 opponents, in case I do get the job is that it all depends on the opponents in your group on how to manage enthusiasm...

This is why you joined the team of coach her duties do not know how to do it? :)

I'll answer for him so this is for everyone.

Yesterday you were saying that it's almost impossible to convince a player to train someone. Now you want us to convince them to train out of their position?

You are trying to give a step bigger than your leg.

And there is another thing. A NT can't depend on only one tactic. And our job is to the the best with the players we have.

It was not you. I'm not sure but I think it was

by elboss (England NT Coach)

In my opinion scouting is not the big issue here. I did pretty extensive scouting last season (note that you really have to do this once a season). It's all pretty automated and in the "Real english federation" there is a list of the players worth looking at.

The problem is that it's difficult (impossible?) to get potential stars trained to fulfill their potential. I found it impossible to get the right players in places where they'd get trained properly. Apart from some remarkable few players, that is why our NT efforts are lagging...

Obviously whoever gets elected will get the list of potentials, best draftees for this season, etc. etc. So the partial knowledge of the player pool the candidates have now is not all that relevant...

Off-topic: Vasco92 is one of my team managers and our ideas about this NT are the same... So any question that one of you can do, the answer will be the same, so it doesn't matter who answer. It's an explanation.

I have some more questions to you:

1st: How many players will you assemble in the beggining of the season?

2nd: How would you distribute the players? (how many for each position)

3rd: And what about potencial? What will be the minimum?

Howdy folks!

I'm a manager of a division 2 team and I'd just like to take 2 minutes to throw my support behind my league mate, Astrogoth.

I've not been playing the game too long, I started in season 6 and got promoted out of my scrub-filled division 3 league pretty quick and joined a very nice little league, II.1. The league had friendly members who were all quick to send me a message and let me know to ask them if I needed help pretty soon after i joined. Being the beginner I was I took liberty of this and from my experience I can honestly say that Astrogoth has always replied in a very, very friendly manner very, very quickly to any questions I've had. It's this reason alone that has compelled me to post this message, as I think it's key for anyone involved with the national teams to be both of these things - active and friendly. Astro has been playing the game a long time now and is very knowledgable - not only about how to win games but also how to develop the team for the future. But he is also happy to hear other people's opinions, I'm sure he'll be able to work with the community well.

I have no doubt in my mind that Astrogoth is the person for the job. I don't have a bad word to say about the other canidates as I don't know them. I'm sure they would all do well but it's hard to image that there is a candidate as passionate, knowledgable or active than Astro.

So please take the time to vote for him, as I'm sure he'll take the time to talk to you and together help develop the English junior team over the next 2 (or hopefully 4) seasons.

Hi. I don't know if you saw our list's goals and measures, but one of them was to personally help other users training their future stars or even developing their teams. So by that, I can say that I'm an helpful people and that I'm active too, because it will take a lot of time to do all this.

2nd: I've been following both portuguese national teams, that are one step ahead of English ones, for 2 years. I learnt a lot with the users that went to the forums talking about the game, and It's because of them that I know this much.

3rd: You said that you found an active forum in your league and that it helped you a lot. One of our goals is to dinamize the forum and bring people there. It seems that only our list will try to do this, because Astrogoth already said that it's useless to do it because they already tried it.

Do you still think that we're not passionable, knowledgable or active?

Since you're one of the onlys that come here without having a list, I would like you to ask questions to all of the candidates, as it would help us showing why should we be the chosen ones and it would help you chosing who shoud you vote for

One question.

Why do you think you are not qualified to be coach of Portugal U21 but are qualified to be coach of England U21?

Well, first of all there are plenty of good voaches in Portugal and the actual coach did an excelent job on that team, so even if I was one of the bests in Portugal, the voters would choose to vote for the actual coach again.

I think that we are qualified to coach in England because the problem main here is not the players we have, but the players we don't have because they were not trained. As you read ( I believe so), we personally acompany every coach with potencial NT players, so that they can train their players without destroying the team ( yes, because we will not only help them in the training, but also in other things they need). That will take a lot of work and that's the reason why we built a 3-man staff team. We believe that to do this, it's needed more than one person. I think that this is a point in favour of or apply, because we are the only list that prepared a team for this elections
