i reckon he is limited by potential to be dominant inside and with that height might be hard to get some guard training in him even though his guard skills aren't bad (besides JS and pass).

If you want to train him then go with ID training and IS training with some reb. If you want in scrimmages play him as a PG and train passing otherwise he will be TO prone and its better to do it now before he caps. I don't think passing is affected by height but im not sure. With the new training system lets hope you will see pops in secondary skills.

Passing is strongly affected by height. That player has weak starting skills and low porential. You would be training him for emotional reasons not logical ones. If you do decide to go against logic and train him anyway at least he will train very fast and as an all-star you should be able to get all primaries up to tremendous which would make him useful to your team forever as long as you never bother with the secondaries. You cannot afford secondaries with his low potential.
