I think inside box and one can stop a LI. I have two examples from this season, when I played a LP vs. a 2-3 or inside box and one.
2-3
(39470036)Inside box and one
(39470060)Against the 2-3 zone, my team had slightly less in inside scoring vs their inside defense. However, I scored 120 points. My team also shot about 58% from the court.
Against the inside box and one, my team had much better inside scoring vs their inside defense. I only scored 83 points that game. My opponent had a 4k C starting and a 27k PF. Somehow they were able to stop my 58k and 12k C and PF respectively.
Inside Bow and One was put into the game not too long ago. There is probably not much information about it, but I think it is defiantly a strong inside defense that was meant to be another option to stop LI offenses.
