Thanks heaps of the logos and banners guys, they look FANTASTIC.

Frankafanhock, i would have used one of yours but buzzerbeater didnt like the format. Maybe because of the gaps in the name?

Any others, im willing to give them a run.

I had put the other one up until something better came along.

Also well done on everyone whom have shown interest in the past few weeks and provided feedback.

Appreciate it. Go Aussies

Another quiet night for the Small Forwards though. They are constantly getting scores under 10 and under performing. Any suggestions?

Good Win.

One question whet level enthusiam did we play at. I understand if you dont want to say cause of spies lol.

Without knowing the players skills i cant really say much about the small foward but it seemed like he was beaten pretty bad watchin the game. with the run and gun i believe that you need a guard like player at small forward or shooter at least with some inside defense. With out knowing too much about the skills of the players Carrington seems like a good pick so i guess he was just strugglin today.

Anyways good win.

BTW Love the Boxing Kangaroo.

Hey mate yeah good win, couple of things, Singapore's offense is pretty even so 2-3 probably wasn't ideal, it left our Outside Defense very vulnerable, against an even push the ball style team like that Man to Man is probably the better option.

As for SF as J-Dog said without knowing skills its hard for us to give advice, SF is a very flexible position, ideally you wanna put a player in their to suit the tactics your playing. But its good to see you asking for advice if your unsure of something....

2-3 zone actually wasn't a bad option in this case. Remember that it gives you a rebounding bonus as well and a lot of the asian teams seem to like training their bigs so it was a fairly safe defense i think.

We probably could have beaten Singapore with just about anything though so it was a good game to try something new (even if 'new' means the same tactic that Hadders runs his own team with every game haha) :P

Good win mate. I kind of agree with C-Cat on the man to man but we won so that's all that matters. SF can be a tough one. In my own team i play a defensive guy that is strong in both ID and OD so he helps me there weather i play man to man, 2-3 or 3-2. Then if i am playing a team that seem to have a really weak defensive SF (ie the opposition SF's have been scoring plenty against them) i will roll out an extra SG in the SF spot and play R & G.

It's a tricky one and obviously even harder for you given you can't buy and train specifically skilled players.

Also it seems the forum on BB-Stats is now up and going so maybe we should move the tactical chat there. If your not involved there sign up and send Judgenik a BB mail and he will give you access tot he aussie only section.

I've started a thread regarding the SF position in there so get in and have your say.

Have posted in offsite forum the skills of the current NT line-up.

Hope this will encourage some more discussion.

I just signed up to the BB-Stats page for the first time, so I'll message Judgenik and get access.

Just feeling my way around right now, seems to be a very productive site, lots of good info, and if we can have private NT discussions then that is awesome.

I love stats, I imagine we all do, anything that can make BB even more nerdier is golden.

I'm pretty pleased to see that my two young Aussie guns Vlachos and Yemelianova lead my entire DivII league in both Pts/48mins and 3Ps/48mins.

Come on Hadders, where are my lucrative U21 contracts?!!!

;)
