I don’t think it shows in the boxscore, only during the live game. I think the only way to find it post-game is in the play by play

important game, i wanted to make surprise for better time in home advantage on hard focus, but it is already lost i think... thx very much

Hi guys. I have a question regarding tactics. Does it have any influence how often you play with one particular tactic on mastering this certain tactic by your team? If i didnt express myself correctly, my question is i.e. when you play 90% with Look Inside and then you switch to RnG or Motion very seldom, even though you have very good shooters your numbers (and %) of 3pt shooting isnt good to say the least. What i paid attention to my league is that the teams that play outside tactics more often or almost always, have very good stats even though their players are not that great in JS or jump range for example. I had games last season, when i chose RnG or princeton and teams defended 2-3 my team was shooting under 30% from 3pt line. I had a guy with 26-20 JS/JR and 20/20 HA/DR on sg most of the time, still the numbers were awful compared to the other teams who played outside tactics and attacking even 3-2 zones had better numbers than me attacking 2-3 zone.

another insane game. me defending princeton with 3-2 zone and attacking opponents 2-3 zone with RnG. Hes shooting 57% (16/28) from 3pt line, me going 11/29 (28%), my sg with 9/22 fg and 3/12 3pt (25%).

also losing cup final like that. (opponent played ct in semis and i pleyed normal in semis, so though he played ct in final, i had higher enth)
I know in several cases teams played with more attitude, but still, the numbers are unexplainable for me.
Anyone any idea?

I believe that after the recent tweaks, you can't torch 2-3 using outside offense anymore if the defending team is well built. I've also had a pretty bad game using RNG against 2-3, and most of my outside shots weren't open.

Might wanna run your games against the game analyzer to see what kind of shots your SG is getting.

I know about engine updates, but again, when looking at other teams usually they score at will in outside tactics. Also my players at 1-3 position had 16, 20, 21 OD and outside offences score better than me most of times. I guess one could find reasons and explanations but still, usually its very strange

I do agree that it is strange, or at least not the norm we are used to. It's just like the previous thread I opened (you also replied to it): (318313.1)

Somehow there seems to be a random factor or something, where despite having good game shape and much better skills, your player will still mess up.

If it were 2 or 3 games i would just pass on it, cause there is random factor u cant do anything with it and have to accept, just like in real basketball. But watching so many games where things get this random is too strange, even that example you cited from my earlier post. If my 2-3 zone gets torched that much with neutral offence and my players with 20 OD, how come my team shoots bricks against 2-3 zone with more than capable shooters (by skills) most of the time?

After I bought this player last season, in regular season games (played 10 games in regular season) this is what his stats were: 60-135 FG (44.4%) 15/49 3 PTs (30.6%)
Out of those 10 games, 5 were inside tactics, 4 outside and one neutral (PTB). Opponent defences were set to M2M 6 times, Pressure was used once and 2-3 zone 3times.
And the skills of this guy were: 26-20 JS/JR, 16OD, 20/20 HA/DR. I doubt there are many shooters with better skills, but I/ve seen 16/14, 18/12 guys hitting well over 40% 3pointers in volumes, while this dude shot miserable 44% fg and 30% 3pt, while he was in 8-9 game shape most of the time.

I also owned this guy for a season or two, he also had around 20-12 JS/JR and more than 20 (25 if i remember correctly) HA/DR, his 3pt shooting was also not that great. I dont know, these teams for example

play outside offences most of the time, and there shooting is great, unless somebody uses 1-3-1 cause they are too predictable. And I've seen some of their players and they are not even close to that great shooters, but still shooting 45% 3pts season in and season out.

this guy who is for 8 seasons in this team, was 120k player and only in 1 season he shot under 40% 3pts, while in other 7 seasons (and he was 34 and 35 in two of those 7 seasons with 70K salary) he shot well over 40%.
Too strange for me.
