You would make more off your arena if you dropped your prices.

I don't know Beener.
Seems pretty reasonable Div III prices to me
how is it that the team is undefeated, faces the only other undefeated team in the league,
and the attendance goes down?
sometimes it makes no sense.
Does have quite a few luxury boxes though (47)
Perhaps there's a limit on revenue for Div III
he pulled in over $224,000 last game, pretty good for his level.

There are 2 very simple rules with arenas. If you are filling section every game then you either need to raise prices, build seats, or both.

On the flip side if your arena isn't full then you're missing the optimum price and you'll make more money if you find it.

Almost every game Sony has 1600 empty bleachers (81% full) and 30 empty luxury boxes (36%) full so he's definitely leaving a bunch of $$$ on the table in those 2 sections. The other 2 sections look fine.

I still think its possible that only so many people will spend only so much money to come and watch Div III games.
And with my own team I have found a third option.
With full bleachers I have not expanded and as the team comtinues to win,
new fans have no choice if they want to come but to buy more expensive seats as attendance goes up.

Yes the division you're playing in makes a difference but so does the size of one's arena and your price point. Pretty sure you didn't have 47 luxury boxes built in divsion 3 like he does and you didn't have almost 8800 bleachers either (I know this because you only had 9100 fans totol at your final D3 home playoff game ;) ) .

But no matter what division you're in the game is set up that you'll make more arena revenue with a large arena with low prices than a small arena with high prices. At least until your arena reaches capacity which is 19000. So I can pretty much guarantee that if Sony drops bleacher prices from $14 to $13 and luxury boxes from $700 to $400 he'll make more arena money than he does right now.

i've been utterly dominating this season and my rank reached as high as 40 in the country at one point, higher than some of the bottom naismith teams. i've beating teams by an average of over 50 ppg.
i still worry about pugs, he's a good team and i'm sure a move will be made at some point and he still has young prospects that he's training. he'll be better than he's ever been come playoff time.
it looks like i'll have home court advantage which gives me some comfort.

Well if you are utterly dominating how do you explain what I am doing?

Same record(perfect), better PD(by 33) in an arguably tougher league, whilst surviving a cup run that has included 5 div III teams(after I win tomorrow) and 2 div II teams. Yours has included just 5 div III teams and only the lzst 2 were of any difficulty.

Hopefully we both win our cup games tomorrow and face each other in the next round so that I can show everyone what I already know. That my team is better than yours.

I would hope that your dominating D3 with a $380,000 payroll.

If not, that would be money very poorly spent.
