Persepolis Immortals 15/1?

* Best record in D1
* Season 24 champions
* Strong team with several very talented 2 way inside/outside players
* Massive bank balance & no fear of going all in

15/1? We will take those odds.

Excellent points. I'll give you 3-1 odds with aussie pride being 2-1 odds =P

The balance of power has shifted, a team from the Big 8 will be champions again this season.

You won't get 15 to 1 from me on your team winning the championship for all the reasons that you stated, I had you as 3 to 1, equal 2nd favourites behind Aussie.

Not sure about this, might be the case that with so many tankers in the Great 8, that a team could position themselves to make it to the final without having to "exert" themselves either financially or enthusiam wise.

The real contenders from the Big 8, most namely Aussie and Immortals might have to exert more to make it to the final

If you calculate how difficult it will be to make the final in the big 8, 15-1 might be a little harsh but at that stage of the season (too me at least), seems fair. Then again, I was doing everything on my phone, so a little harder to judge. 3-1 would be a little too low IMO. Putting them at 7-1 or 10-1 might be more realistic to me considering how difficult it would be to win the conference alone. Still too early to make a more accurate decision.

I'd put the current top 5 in B8 as contenders at the moment. How you guys get there, and high up you guys finish, could be the difference. I'd definitely shorten your odds tonight.

Fishy winning their last 2 could mean that their price is cut from 100-1 to 50-1. It could see them thinking about buying up and knocking out a couple contenders.

I had myself listed at 12 to 1, and I could honestly say that if you offered me those odds on myself for this seasons championship, I wouldnt touch them.

Might be more interested however, if you were to offer them to me for next seasons championship.

I'd definitely shorten your odds tonight

Tonights win over Immortals means nothing as I had an edge in enthusiam, the game was played at my Home Court and if the Immortals were to go all in to win again, it will be with a different team that what they played with tonight.

My team is yet to play Aussie who is coasting with 4 wins despite playing their National Team talls as guards for training purposes

Edit

Pancakes who out of respect for them, I kept short at 16 to 1, are bidding on some very capable players at present and could be making a bit of a move.

Still no sign of Home Axis. With Koop and Fishy both tanking and banking like crazy it may be a very bad season to end up 6th or 7th in the Big 8 facing some super teams of rentals in the relegation series.

Hope they become active again.

Might have been a bit of a reality shock for them making the ABBL and then finding out they weren't the only HA team

Axis paid extra for a 2nd team, so it seems a little strange that he is not logging in. Could just be that he's on holidays with all of these public holidays. Just hop all is good no matter what.

In other news, I'll put you down as fav if you get full HCA in the playoffs. Not only that, I can see you doing the double this season if BLS gets surprised in the cup and gets knocked out.

Put tonights win in context.

I had HCA and used extra enthusiam.

Aussie played Schneider for 48 mins at PG and not centre.

If i was you i would not drive until the effects of the hallucinates wear off.

The big question is how many wins does a team require to avoid the relegation zone in the Big 8?

Would 12 wins be enough or would you need 13 wins?

Honestly, been watching you teams progress last couple of seasons. You are still training and yet leading the ABBL. As I said, full HCA, and I'll put you as fav. Just my 2 cents at this stage of the season. BTW, you did mention S28 being the season that you will win aim to win it. That being the case, whos to say that your players are not ready now?

Your D is awesome, and that is where it all starts. You can play it down as much as you like. You have a brilliant team atm. What happens from now on, who knows. I am complementing you on your great effort so far. Still a long way to go, but you are looking quite good IMO.
