Speaking of Melo to the Knicks.........

0-2 vs. Cleveland since the trade. Ouch

Maybe Byron Davis isn't done?

Or... likewise: Andrew Bynum. Who was anything but healthy.

Please,stop talikng Bynum
In the key moment of the game, however Jackson would have preferred the Odom-Gasol duo...and however Bynum injuries were known and the same in the series,Perk was healthy the first 5 game and injured in the last two,so it change more for the Celtics than for the lakers

So basically you are saying that because the Lakers knew they would be without a healthy Bynum they had time to adjust their gameplan for the playoffs, whereas the Perkins injury in the finals was all of a sudden leaving no time for the Celtics to adjust. Fair?

Yes,it is

Perk is not very talented, but is a good player and fit really well in celtics system,so losing a player with his carachteristics in that moment of the series was decisive last season.
This year is a whole different strory,Ainge think that the trade with OKC would leave celtics at the same level this year and will be an improvement in the next years, when green could improve to the expectations and learn celtics system, time will say if he make a good choice

I think Miami (and I cannot believe I'm saying this) have too much for NYK. And even tho' they're down now, I don't see them staying down (tho'... if they could see their way to losing 3 more games - I have a wager on them not getting 60 wins!).

I could see a Boston v Miami matchup in the ECF.
I'm rooting for Boston if this happens. The spotlights been on Miami this season, so I'm rooting for the, underdog,if you can call the Celtics that.

wait, what happened after the bulls-heat game...the heat players cried? ...rofl...............

Definitely looking good (Chicago). I think Boston/Orlando 2nd round could get interesting.

If I were a Celtic fan, I would hope for this matchup in the 2nd round. Boston in 5

My team is named after Gallo, but I'm liking this Melo guy alright.

What did I keep telling you about Orlando?

Oh, yeah, and Atlanta?

Orlando has one trick, and it usually fails in the playoffs.

Largely, I agree with the "one trick"... but 'fail'?
Really?
This season - yes. Tho' a 5th seed beating a 4th isn't such a stretch.
2010 - ECF
2009 - NBA Finals
2008 - ECSF
2007 - Playoffs, first round loss

You have to go back to 2006 to where they didn't make the playoffs, and over the past 5 years they have a series win/loss record of 7/5 (roughly... I think - I'm still a bit fuzzy: just got up!).
That's a load of 'fail' that I think many teams would kill for.
