Adel: big game next week, against Freo in Perth. If they lose they'll be in danger of slipping back to the pack, with games against St K, NM (away), Port (showdown), WCE, Geel (away) and Ess to come.

As a Crows fan, I've got to say I'm not that worried about a loss this weekend. We were hoping to win 1 of our 5 games in this block - 4 games in, we won 3 and got beaten by a Magpies side that played very well in the other. Even if we lose this, our run home is *SO SOFT*.

Our run home:
Freo (A) - might win
Saints (H) - should win
Kangas (A) - might win
Tigers (H) - should win
Power (A) - should win
GWS (A) - better win otherwise will cry
Eagles (H) - might win
Cats (A) - probably lose
Bombers (H) - might win
Freo (H) - should win
Lions (A) - should win
Melbourne (A) - should win
Suns (H) - see entry for GWS.

So, that's 8 games we should definitely win, 4 we may win (home ground advantage against all the tougher teams except the Cats) and one we will probably lose. If we take 2 of those 4 may wins, that gives us 17-5. which should keep us above most of the pack, I'd think...

Have I been too optimistic here?

I don't think your overly optimistic camel, I think thanks to your draw you will finish top. For some reason though I just can't see the crows winning it all.

No, that is a fair analysis. You guys have a great fixture.

I on the other hand think your quite optimistic. Our run home:

Freo (A) - might win
Saints (H) - might win (saints are in pretty good form)
Kangas (A) - should win win
Tigers (H) - might win (tigers are also in good form)
Power (A) - should win
GWS (A) - better win otherwise will cry
Eagles (H) - will lose
Cats (A) - 50/50 (will have to see how the cats are travelling by then)
Bombers (H) - might win
Freo (H) - might win (over there, never a given)
Lions (A) - should win
Melbourne (A) - should win

i would give you 5 wins and 6 may wins

I think that's a fair analysis. My initial analysis probably only looked at the harder games, but looking at the whole lot there, you would expect a minimum of 8 wins from the remaining games, which gives you at least 15 for the season. I'd say that would definitely be enough for Top 4.

Think you'll find the H's are where the Crow's are at home (seems you've confused that)

eg they play the Eagles at AAMI. You'd probably back the Crows over there (and I'm an Eagles fan).

I know one win aint a season matt!

Richmond is rapidly improving and we have one of the top midfields in the afl at the moment and jack riewoldt's confidence will be back after the excellent game against hawthorn! Jack now sits second in the coleman medal, and brett deledio and trent cotchin is amongst the top 5 in afl in disposals and dream team points!
Our players are performing now and we can only go up from here!

As for who we will replace in the top 8 at the end of the season, its to early to tell but I just know we will be there in september playing finals footy!
Dont continue to dwell on richmonds ugly past, its not fair give em a chance, Dont u look at stats, If deledio keeps goin the way he is goin, then he could have a crack at the brownlow!
Bet you did not expect adelaide to be where they are at the start of the season!

If u go for geelong then ur used to success!
