In all seriousness, I'm actually training a 20 year old with 6th man potential. (26097520). Got him for only $1k when i decided to switch from mostly team training to individual training earlier this season.

And U21/NT have nothing to do with the Op question. From a club point of view, L6/L7 slow down the competitivity of a club. L5 is acceptable and L4 is the best in the ratio cost/efficiency.

This statement is a joke right? If I am making money everyweek, how is having a level 7 hurting my team?

Now if you add my BB3 money and my cup money...I am making almost 60K a week.
After I get my 3rd loss in the BB3 or get knocked out of the cup. I will drop my salaries down to around 500K and then I will be making some cash.
A level 4 isn't cost effective....a level 4 trainer is like a Speed Governor that they stick in rent a cars so that you can't speed. The cars/players can't reach full Potential. Like the user whose comeback was that he CAPPED an allstar by the age of 25. Now that is a joke. I had a Per.Allstar on my U-21 team lastseason who had 102 TSP and was almost capped by 22 with a level 6 trainer. Capping an ALLSTAR by 25 isn't a difficult job. Hey...If people in the game want to think level 4 trainers are good enough for their trainees, cool. I guess someone has to buy them.

It was 24, but hey, you can read. You also said it was impossible to get a a MVP to 110-120 by 26, with a level 4. I showed it was possible. So I guess the joke is on you.

That is crazy talk!!....even with the perfect height/ and a starting TSP of 65(that would be 5 averages and 5 respectables)....and I am not talking about 20 driving and 20 handles, I'm talking about primaries with great secondaries


I have a 22 y/o ATG now at 103 TSP. I would venture a guess he'll be 110-120 TSP by 26 with a level 4 trainer. ;)

what? Is that including stamina and FTs? TSP doesn't include those. hahahaha!! He probably has 36 points of driving and handles right?
Damn...you are in the Naismith with a level 4 trainer!! That is sad. And you have an ATG....Yikes!!
I wonder if that ATG being trained with a Level 4 trainer will ever make the NT of your country?
I am guessing NO!!

Anyways... I think we can basically sum things up like this guys :D....

Level 7>6>5>4>3>2>1 when it comes to training. In terms of speed and general salary.

In general the difference between a level 4 and 5 trainer is not despairingly large in the younger years of training, but as the age increases the difference becomes more noticeable.

It's possible to cap out an MVP with a level 4 (good secondaries etc. etc.) but it will obviously take longer to cap that player than it would have with a level 5, 6, or 7.

Everyone does what works for them, perhaps Japan needs to use higher trainer levels because they need to pump out those NT (and/or U21) players faster since they're a relatively small nation meaning there is only so much supply of good players, and less turnover of NT players. Meanwhile say.. Canada has a bigger population meaning they can afford to spend more time capping out players for the NT since there is more supply.

If you have an ATG it would be wise to train him/her with at least a level 4 trainer, perhaps higher if you wanna finish the training (cap out) before 27? <-- approximation.

Basic trainers & starter potential are where it's at.


For you fancy NBBA types, maybe. Some of us can't afford that fancy starter potential, and there's no way you can say that it's worth any less to train a bench warmer or even an announcer.


I capped an announcer once. True story. Single position training obviously.
