All in all: nowadays kids are online every day and they want action the whole day. The easiest way to keep them playing is to let them play games. Just look at all those game apps out there: you get (small) bonusses for logging in each day.
Well as this game targets a completely different age group, it would need a total overhaul. However, I think in general this could be a direction the BB should think about.
The "no spoon feeding" policy should go, there should be daily updates (training, economy) and things should happen much faster (no week long injuries, faster training) - at the end of the day, I guess the "no money, no resources" and "if x happens, I am going to quit the game" positions would dominate, thus nothing will happen.
