Hattrick had a great decline of players, too. So they changed a lot of things but not the game engine.

Managers could arrange more games per week either in the form of tournaments or in duells (those work as pay to play - you buy some credits and you can play games very often). New users can now arrange some (up to 5?) scrimmages during the first week. So they do have more games per week while there is still only one league and one cup game (or 2nd game is scrimmage). That might be an idea that could work with BB, too.

They allowed 2nd teams and even 3rd teams. These 3rd teams are youth (development) teams.

All in all: nowadays kids are online every day and they want action the whole day. The easiest way to keep them playing is to let them play games. Just look at all those game apps out there: you get (small) bonusses for logging in each day.

You really tend to ignore these things that don't fit into your crusades. Even if you wouldn't like it (and I don't need a game each day, too), I'm quite sure that a lot of people would really enjoy the possibilty to play a game whenever they like to.

in a game where the economy is probably the main aspect, where you are fighting for 5k more at week, the global economy suddenly changed and the 2 millions of two seasons ago are just enough to buy a decent young player, this is unacceptable.
I sold two players when the market wasn't at the top and basically I've lost money, now I don't know if and when to buy, this is also unacceptable cause the market isn't regulated by itself as it should be.

Once again and it's already at least the third time that happened since the game has been created, don't touch the economy!

Well as this game targets a completely different age group, it would need a total overhaul. However, I think in general this could be a direction the BB should think about.

The "no spoon feeding" policy should go, there should be daily updates (training, economy) and things should happen much faster (no week long injuries, faster training) - at the end of the day, I guess the "no money, no resources" and "if x happens, I am going to quit the game" positions would dominate, thus nothing will happen.

Fully respect about your opinion but there were always many direct intervents of the BBs in the economy.
The first one was the taxation in order to limit the day trading, if I remember well on season 3/4, then a lot of other things has been done, like the over taxes, the adjustment of the salary formula and of course the FA. I don't wanna discuss the changes but there is really no way to have a long term program if you put and leave money following a criteria that is completely unknow, at least to me. Talking about the last weeks, the difference of price of a single player, the same player could be something around 1-2 millions that is an huge amount. Now the real problem is that not everyone wants to sell and buy again at the same time and waiting now is a real question mark. This is something must be avoided, I can accept changes in the economy but not from day to night with a difference in % of more than 100.
In addiction I saw so many changes but there is still a problem related to the micronations...
