i won this game. and i won it at home.
but since there are several discussions about the overpover of outsideattack and i decided for a 2-3... perhaps anyone can tell me if this win was with good cause or if im just a very lucky guy.

I played at home, my ratings are way better, specially 2 pointers, i think i had more enthusiasm, i won the rebounds.. Only thing what happened, it's he played Mots and i played pic. Does it mean so much? Explain me, why i lost, thanks :)

You TIE'ed and they CT'ed.

But my tactics was better, (look inside against 1-3-1), homecourt advantage, better players, more enthusiasm.. Does effort means everything?

Your guards and SF are pretty bad, especially compared to your opponents' outside players. My theory is that:

1) Your guards had a hard time getting the ball inside to your bigs.
2) Your guards had a hard time driving to the hoop/looking inside themselves.
3) When your guards took outside shots, either because an open outside shot presented itself, or because they couldn't get to the hoop or deliver the ball to your bigs effectively (it is probably some combination of both), they couldn't hit them.

Throw the CT vs TIE on top of the skill disparity at the perimeter, and the fact that the 1-3-1 would actually make things even harder for your over-matched guards, and it looks like your team just couldn't come up with the perimeter skill necessary to take advantage of your inside dominance on offense. Defensively, you had a man-to-man with your worst position players covering his best position players, so his SG and SF ended up having pretty good games.

Ultimately I would say that the CT vs TIE exposed a lack of perimeter/inside balance on your team (in this particular game; not trying to say your team needs more balance or anything you may have been playing your backup guards this game etc) and his team was well set up to take advantage, and what looked like a Div III vs Div IV mismatch turned into a 50/50 toss up that he happened to win.

Yes, i played with my backup guards, maybe your theory is good, and maybe you're right. But still, my PG/SG/SF had some OD's (Not good at all, only 6 or 7 level defense), and they all could pass the ball, PG and SG had passing lvl7, and SF - lvl 5 passing skill. I thought it will be enough, but, how we saw, it wasn't :)

yeah, i know that 2 of my SF's was playing as C and PF because i was training them, but i was right about the tactics. Most of the game my team was ahead, but in late minutes i was trailing. With ONE second left on the clock, my team made field goal to even the score. So, only ONE second was left, but other team's player didnt shoot from half court or something, but he made simple field goal being next to my basket?? I mean that its impossible to run from one side of court to the other and allmost dunk the ball. And i thought that only thing left for them was to shoot the ball from their side of the court. I dont kno why, but wasnt angry when my team lost that game, i couldnt stop laughing :D

(18253185) - Any thought on this? Was this just unlucky? Made me furious, with this being prolly the most important game of my season. I had some foul trouble with my guards but my backups are equal to my starters, depending on game shape sometimes even better. He outrebounded me, which was odd. We had both max entu possible. Ofcourse my team started fouling in the end and missing those threes:(
