That is a massive massive stretch. Lopez is a solid big guy who doesn't rebound well and Favours may never be any good. To say they had the potential to become the best front court in the NBA is akin to suggesting a Div 4 team will win the cup this year!

thats why favours and lopez can form a great front court... lopez with the low post scoring, favours can feed off those double teams for some easy points... also favours is a pretty good rebounder, at 6'10 and 19 years old he could still grow and put on size... favours is no slouch in the low post either. I dont see how any other team can match up to that potential frontcourt unless someone like Dwight goes to knicks or magics can get a top PF... lopez doesnt rebound well is a bit harsh... since he is having a down year in the rebounding department... maybe due to them going inside to him more and less rebounding chances.

Lopez is a horrible rebounder.

That's not being harsh.

Lopez average 8 reb a game last year which is really not that good in a team that shoots so poorly and this hear is is averaging a terrible 5.6. There are guards in the league getting more boards per game. Rebounding is all about desire and timing (just ask Kevin Love) and Lopez has very little of both.

Also to say no one could match Lopez and Favours in a few years is just stupid. That combination would be solid but I'd have plenty of PF/C combos ahead of them. Hell even Mozgov and Amare would be better!

Baron Davis has been traded to the Cavs for Mo Williams, a couple of 1st rounders have been swapped and I think Moon is going to Clippers as well.

No.

Shooting is a rhythm thing. Rebounds is more an effort thing.

Yeah, i like this for my OKC boys too. The defense wasn't that crash hot this season but a starting lineup of Westbrook/Sefolosha/Durant/Ibaka/Perkins sounds pretty good to me.

Perkins can play the solid low post defense and Ibaka can fly in for the blocks :D

I did like Jeff Green but he really wasn't a PF and obviously he's not taking over Durant's SF role so he kind of had to go eventually. I still wish we got Tyson Chandler in that deal last year but this is good too. Nate should be a handy scoring punch off the bench too hopefully.

As far as Boston go, i think Green will play well for them but a lot is going to ride on Shaq's health now.
