are u able to select them? Thats interesting, i thought they came up in red in the player select panel, just like in normal games.

Well that's me out of the Cup, just couldn't give a rats @ss about the Cup with my injuries atm. Much happier to be 4-0 in league games!

I think Yoda is correct and they won't play, seem a bit odd really.

Don't worry GV, I don't really have any training priorities this season so I should be able to keep GS at a reasonable level so my boys come straight back in firing~! ;-)

Haggards threatened to give up last season, seems like he's still struggling. Not sure what's happened with Docs but 2 weeks isn't time enough to hit the panic button (or celebration for some).

Anyone know if injured players are unable to play in PL games? I notice you are able to select them in your team for the PL games but I've not been in this position before. Last week I sat my two injured players as I figured that couldn't play. Now i'm thinking that might not be the case?


Injured players can't play. The match calculation uses the current stats/skills of the players to calculate the match, and this includes injuries.

Just had a look at Haggards GS and his starters are mostly down to inept. Not a good sign for my old rival.

Just realised it's the final playoff in my random PL, of which I somehow managed to finish on top with a few much better teams than my own. My two current injuries have virtually crippled any chances of me winning. The season has been extremely long, with 12 teams all playing each other twice, starting back midway through season 17, on 24/09/11. Very frustrating to be hit with the worst bout of injury in my team's history, still I guess it could be worse...
