Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone

On to the league action, I was out of commission this week so I set two lineups and let it run. 1-1 on the week, which was about what I was hoping for. Had to blow a CT against the Missouri Sounders because it was a rivalry game. Would have rather normaled at home, but since it was on the road decided on CT, and boy was I glad I did. Needed every bit to overcome it. 40+ point 4th quarter.

Anyway, I'm already planning on next season, so unless it's a TV game, I'll be TIE'ing it and just managing minutes for the rest of this year and hopefully my trainees will progress enough that I become relevant again next season.

Merry belated Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you! As we prepare for the stretch run, here is the final power rankings of the season. I was tempted to forsake the final ranking, as we all know who's going to promote (looking at you Bobbanana) and this year's league is fairly mediocre and inactive. However, life's about to get busy, so this will probably be my last one for awhile.

In honor of the upcoming CFP games, this ranking will be college-football-themed.

1. Florida Champs: Alabama. The pre-emptive crowning of the Florida Champs may be rat poison for Eryilmaz and company, but I doubt it.
2. Tallahassee Trees: Clemson. While there is some serious talent on this team. Billingsley and Cloutier (like Lawrence, Higgins, and Co.) are a year or two away from winning it all.
3. PV Pride: Michigan. This team looked impressive early in the season, but as usual, they're folding down the stretch.
4. Mighty Spartans: Notre Dame. The sum is greater than the parts for Gympro. He's not getting a lot of respect, but watch out down the stretch.
5. Burlington Orbitals: Washington. Josiah does more with less salary, similar to Chris Petersen and his recruits at UW.
6. Diamantes: Oklahoma. That offense is nasty. Unfortunately, they don't play defense.
7. Deportivo Saprissa: Kansas State. Like a wisened old sage, A. Sizemore (Bill Snyder) has gotten a lot out of this team.
8. Sandy Springs Basketball Club: Iowa State. Like Matt Campbell, Hank the Bank does a phenomenal job of coaching on a shoestring budget.
9. UofDallas: Boston College. I couldn't tell you a single thing about BC. They play in a mediocre conference and have a mediocre record.
10: Missouri City Sounders: Virginia Tech. The season started off with such promise for deucie, but a loss to Hank the Bank (much like V Tech's loss to Old Dominion) precipitated a huge fall.
11. Swamp People: Oregon. There are some gnarly young players on this team, as well as a new and precocious manager. Give it a year or two and this team will be making some noise.
12. GoZags: Florida State now, Georgia later. Few teams came into this season with more hype than the Zags. No team has so embarrassingly underperformed this season. (in fairness, I don't think competing was ever the goal) In regards to future seasons, GoZags will be more like Georgia: loaded and young.
13. D-City Smokers: Baylor circa 2017. It wasn't sexual assault allegations that destroyed the Smokers, but the results are the same. It'll be a few seasons before tnjay's boys compete the way they did the past few seasons.
14. Fair Where Foes: UCLA. There was some talent on this team, but it got ugly this season.

Appreciate the write-up, nice stuff in there. Hope the #1 ranking doesn’t get to the players’ heads. Roll tide I guess? That felt pretty gross to type out lol. Like always, good luck the rest of the way.

Merry Christmas and (soon to be a) happy new year everyone!

I'm a simple man, I see Artie M writeups, I upvote. Not much action going on over here for the past couple seasons, but let me get these trainees up to speed and I'll be making waves in the upper echelons soon

The bots are skewing the daily performances.

Also, you and Hank the Bank can't play each other in the relegation series. Both of you need to stay in this league!
