don't think there will be two PL's for a while yet, me and yoda would like to keep this rivalry flourish with the core members of the xbb and the iv7 going head 2 head.

There has been a bit of a revolt from the teams in this PL against the idea of expansion. There were votes taken in our private federations and majority rules so I am sorry to confirm what koop said, for now there will be no expansion of our league into two divisions. We would like to publicly apologise to anyone that has been inconvenienced by this.

Many of the teams felt, understandably that they did not want to be put into a second division and not get to compete against their friends each week. Many teams felt that they liked their current team and didn't want to change them around. Many teams felt that the current teams were for the most part well balanced and formed a very fair league. Many teams felt that just being in this league was very good for their team and having the chance to learn from players like Koop, DFBS, Naker Virus, abigfishy and others had helped their teams a great deal. Others felt that some of the proposed new teams like Amos Rogues, Kynlala Knights, Hobos and Monkey Business were simply too strong and would dominate the league to the detriment of the existing teams.

As it stands we will be needing either 0 or 1 team for the XBB side of the competition and 0, 1 or 2 new teams for the IV.7 side. This means that at most we will be needing 3 new teams but by the looks of things the reality is we will probably most likely be only needing 0 and 1.

Please note that not all the opinions above are necessarily the opinions of the management, Koop and myself, but they do reflect the majority view of the members of the league.

We do hope that perhaps there is a critical mass of other Aussie players to form a new Aussie PL.

On a personal note, I am sorry and if there is anything I can do to help get another Aussie PL going I am only too eager to be of service.

That's a pity.

Though I respect the group's decision.

i first bought supporter because i was told i was in the first pl

i recently upgraded supporter to 1 yr supporter in prep for the coming 2 div pl and now your saying thats not going ahead.

so to be put simply will i be in the next pl

Probably 1 new person to join each side max.

After all the build up of two divsions, I think its a pretty stupid decision.

I feel this decision is about the fear of new teams dominating, which is why a promotion/demotion system would work.

Go to bunnings, buy a pack of cement and harden the F*** up!

Sorry Kilrtom, but that's not what it was about at all.. at least not from the XBB side.

Setting up the private league was not about creating a league where all the best teams can come together and challenge each other. It was originally about a bunch of friends playing together in the same league - as we are spread out across different public leagues and have no other way of challenging each other. With the introduction of two seperate divisions, that would take away the reason why we started this private league in the first place.

I think that a private super league is a great idea, and I see no reason why someone can't set it up and run it if they have a mind to. But for now, XBB will not be a part of that as our goal in private league is to be able to play against each other for shits, giggles and bragging rights.

Com'on guys the solution is easy.

All that's happening now is people are turning on each other. There are people here that want to play serious competitive matches and people that are here for the fun of it, either way all should be welcome. We all paid money to become supporters. Iwan should not be left out because he will flog us all, and hammers should not be kicked because he is win less. Also we have more people interested our Aussie community seems to be growing. So here is what i suggest .....

We have 2 leagues a serious competitive league and a fun friendly league. We give everyone a choice on what league that want to be in. Also we keep only 1 Forum for everyone.

Lets say 5 or 6 people leave this fun league and join the serious league, It means Iwan Zyler City Celtics and others can join the serious league it they want, and it will make more room in the fun league. This way Yoda and Koop's are not put in the position in pissing people off,

Everyone can make there own choice.
